They think that the Vita sold - 60,000 (n/a) / 61,000 (n/a) last month. Wonder what's causing the bump? I know a big title for the 3DS just came out.
They also think that the 360 will sell 200K units (That would be down by as much as 28%). The PS3 would get a 3% bump if it sells 150K as expected. The Ps3 has really been selling pretty close to the 360 in the US this year (Only 40-50k difference which the PS3 makes up in Japan alone). A price cut on Sony's new slim wou...
Glad to see the PS3 ahead of the pack as far as consoles go worldwide (Shocked that it's only 1.9 million behind the Xbox360 as well). 3DS sales are exploding, doing quite well. Wii got a nice bump as well, not that far behind the 360 sales. Vita really needs some new games.
@ Units
Yeah, but for MS Xbox division's Q3, it lost $229 million (Jan-March of this year). No one talked about that. Instead journalists bunched MS whole company's profits to make it seem as if that the Xbox360 was doing and selling well in their opinion pieces (Much like this quarter Q4, where the Xbox360 console sales were the lowest it's been since 2007).
@ RedHemi
I'm comparing both gaming divisions. Why would I compared...
Xbox gaming division loses 229 million ( http://www.gamespot.com/new... ), *crickets*. Playstation division loses $44 million, Playstation is doomed! Lol, gotta love the US gaming journalists.
Looks amazing, can't wait.
Word. Amazing game.
"Trade 2 games from this list, get Persona 4 Arena free"
Sweet deal.
Yes! I can't wait to play Sound Shapes.
Hope this isn't canceled. I really was looking forward to playing Agent.
Yay, more new IPs from Sony! Can't wait to play The last of Us btw.
Word. You know something, when the Xbox360 division lost $229 million this year, we hardly had any headlines speaking on that, only the 18.06B overall profit for the Microsoft company as a whole. But with Sony, we will probably have articles headlining with it's $45 million lost in the gaming division or Sony's total lost as a whole company.
Here's the only one I could find.

From neogaf
1.9m PS3 - 600k PS2 last Q. Overall rose 300k this Q so 700k PS2 and 2.1m PS3 seems like a good range.
Ps3- 2.1 million units
Ps2-700k units
They didn't break down the Vita/PSP numbers yet.
Edit: For comparison's sake, the 360 sold 1.1 million for their quarter and had a lost of $229 million in their gaming division.

Did China ever allow the PS3 and Xbox360 to be sold there? I think MS and Sony were both in talks with China to get thing rolling in 2010. Never did hear anything about that again at the end of 2010 till now.
@ decrypt
You gotta admit though. When looking at each console exclusives, the PS3 does have the edge when it comes to tech, graphics and higher FPS. If the 360 is so superior or on the same level as the PS3, then why don't their games reflect that? I don't even think the 360 managed to pull any Spike GOTY awards this gen.
Edit: Look at The Last of Us game and it's AI alone.
Edit2: You all remember when the Gears of War series wa...
The Last of Us...can't wait for that game.
News voice: 31 cases out of 2.5 million users WW, Watchdogs investigates PS Vita overheating (Which had been shown in the other articles as being caused by people plugging in the charger the wrong way which Sony specifically told you not to do in the manual).
