Wii U is a powerful console. Why MGS isn't on Wii U? Nobody knows and shouldn't act like they do. Chances are it's business related.
Keep up the good work Nintendo. The next two months are going to be brutal.
There's sarcasm, and then there's obvious hate.
Excellent point.
Suddenly, a million unfounded excuses are being made for the PS4.
I find it funny how some people here demand praise for PS4 when it reaches a new mile stone, but when another system does better than it, all of a sudden there's something wrong.
Hey, if it works, it's fun, and and appropriately priced. People would buy it.
I like Nintendo's diverse culture. Consumers get big budget games, mid-budget games, small budget games, and even good non-game applications rather than just constantly big-budget games.
If Nintendo can capitalize on other things without having their core games department suffer, I'm all for it. In the end, their products are usually appealing (or Nintendo wouldn't ...
Nintendo and playing it safe doesn't go together.
I'm sure the only reason he neglected the talk about those other companies is because TNE is predominantly a Nintendo site. The few times they do talk about the other companies, they're surprisingly fair. They've even got one article that speaks highly of the Vita (small reference).
Would love to see what they could publish if they became all-platforms gaming site. They do have gamingenthusiast, but not with the same editors.
People need to realize that people don't actually think EA is the worst company in America. It's just a title that's supposed to make EA wake up.
You're not a PC gamer at all. If you were one, 3rd party support for Wii U would brush off you.
And no online? lol
Meanwhile, as Wii U and 3DS house the highest rated games of the generation...
The only damage Nintendo is doing is failing to collect the money we throw at them by not filling up the release schedule and marketing their system to others who would gladly throw their money at them if they even knew the system or particular game existed.
And that only goes for Wii U. There's no problem with the 3DS.
Nope, just PS4, but it has not yet proven how well it can do while not launching in other countries.
Like Foxtrot, you're taking it a bit too seriously.
You couldn't help criticize Nintendo even on a humor video.
Pro tip: It's not an actual issue.
You could ask that same question of Sony. Where would they be without their console (in other words, it's a pointless question)? And btw, Sony has had more unprofitable consoles than Nintendo, so it's not like their handheld division is the only thing that got them where they are now.
Nintendo also isn't worse off with their same IPs (clearly people still enjoy them), but that doesn't mean I wouldn't be welcome to something new.
In the end...
I guess Nintendo isn't everyone then, because the only think Nintendo be doing is cutting exec paychecks! You're getting downvotes for being wrong!
EDIT: It's really their problem if they get mad that Nintendo is expanding which other studios who are apparently less doomed than Nintendo aren't. I see what you're saying, but this is minimal compared to other articles here.
I'm not too sure it's possible to mistranslate photo proof.
Yes, NES, SNES, Wii, and every Nintendo handheld were best-selling if that's what you mean by flagship.
EDIT: Well, you can't redefine the word flagship. There's also nothing Nintendo has never done.
Excited to see what everyone has to show this year.
@Allsystemgamer
Don't be so quick to act like you understand business yourself. Third parties don't get paid off to support a system (to an extent). Where the hell else are their games going to go if not on Wii U, PS4, or X1? What? Just PC lol?
