The only thing Nintendo is failing to do is maximize profits, but that's only a theoretical crime. Failing to maximize profits doesn't actually harm your business.
Sony and MS on the other hand, have made actual failures. Xbox is not profitable for MS and PS3 undid PS2 profits.

For second week sales. This sucks. DK is beating out key PS4 games and it's been out for a while (on a platform that's been out for even longer).

We're going to be looking at 10 million by the end of June at this rate.
6 million in 4 months is about 1.5 each month. That's above pace of the Wii. Granted, monthly numbers most likely won't stay this high, as there are no more regions for Sony to launch in. From here on out, it's going to be all about the games.

The guy was fair and added up lastest sales week of each company's platforms and it's evident that Nintendo is doing better than Microsoft. He was even generous in using PS4 Japan launch sales, else Nintendo would actually be on top.
