For $20, I think I might pick this up. Sure, it's not a perfect game, but it doesn't look bad, and it looks a little bit unique.
The trailer was absolutely stunning. It was the first time a trailer has made me want to cry.
I hope the game has a serious tone. All of the zombie games today are much more on the silly, over the top side. It would be nice if this game was serious, and made me care about keeping the people alive.
I'm excited for this one!!
I'm pretty disappointed System Shock 2 isn't on there. It was one of the redefining FPSs for me. It was terrifying, had RPG elements, told a lot of the story through the audio logs, and was co-op over LAN. It's the game that inspired everything BioShock did, since BioShock was basically a remake of it set under the sea.
I think it's just the buzz words. electronics terrify some people, so cyber-bulling and articles like this are all the rage, even if the technology isn't at fault. He said he couldn't take the arguing. I'm sure this wasn't the only argument they've had, but the breaking point.

They're .. pirates. Arrr, matey.
Pillaging doesn't sound so bad. :]
360 has facebook and netflix as well. I just feel like the interface on the 360 is so much better suited for online gaming, and that everything that it has and does is suited for fostering a community. Netflix for the 360 has parties so you can watch a movie with a friend, the party system by itself is really awesome, you can see who's in a party and who's playing what in a really nice and efficient system.
I don't feel like I'm getting a lot more, but I feel...
Well, durr.
Officially. This sealed the deal.
I mean, for L4D my friends and I always get in a 8-person party when we're playing a 'friendly' game of versus so we can still talk to everyone, rather than be cut off from talking to the other team. Plus, the watching netflix with a party feature - which I thought was kind of dumb at first - is actually pretty nifty. My friends and I watched movies together without having to venture out into the colddd.
Name them, please. I can't really think of what PSN+ has other than like free psone/arcade games that you don't get to pick, and exclusive sales.
XBL Gold has exclusive sales, timed demos, etc. Just the same as PSN+. XBL also has party chat, which is a godsend.
Yeah, I'm not saying that they shouldn't be rated M or anything like that. I'm just saying, did they actually cause controversy?
Like, rated M games are no big deal over here in the states, with the exception of GTA - and that's really only because of Fox News.
Fair enough.
But are these games actually controversial?
Having a feature like that would just be bad for legit players, and even if some douches get free trophies over it --- who cares?? It literally doesn't affect anything. Cheating online is another story, but for trophies, it just doesn't matter. .. I mean, for our egos and e-peens, it sure does, but other than that.. nope.
Agreed. I literally hope this guy gets punched in the face. According to him, apparently, everyone should just leave the entire industry for dead. There's piracy on every single platform.
Adult-rated I thought would be AO, not mature. Being rated M does not cause controversy, especially when games like RE5 and Left4Dead are on there. There's no adult content in those games, just epic gore.
You can't single out PC, and you can't even rule out the PS3 anymore. It's all a mess.
That's not super cheap though. It'll still cost you around $40. Although, I do agreee with you whole-heartedly that it's an amazingggg game and people should buy it.
I just picked up The Darkness yesterday for $4.99 . There are so many super cheap games now that we're pretty far into this gen.
I hope eventually GH gets brought back, and that it's super amazing. I really like the game.
