Pro tip: Better off buying the version with no heatsink and adding your own. The heatsink version is harder to get in stock and is expensive. Like $50 for a heatsink that costs like $10 on Amazon.

I won't be getting the steam deck because that money goes further to buy new PC parts so I can play steam games on the platform in which they where designed.
That button placement in the upper right and left hand corner though. Why do the touch pads get center spot, Over primary face buttons? I feel the biggest downfall of this device will be the layout.

Absolutely agree. This is a bonkers statement from DICE aimed at calming a community that is rightly cautious and critical but ultimately those who this statement is aimed at also are totally ignorant about what AAA development is like much less AAA development at place like EA.
I have worked on multiplayer shooters and with and around environment artists for AAA games for years now. 6-12 months is absurd. So they are saying it can take up to a YEAR to make the map????!!! Ok if this was a smaller indie studio I can understand limited resources. BUT EA and Battlefield.... really?

Meanwhile a bug plaguing Red Dead Redemption 2 story mode has had the "Arthur your gonna catch a chill, put on some clothes"! bug persisting for over a year. This bug was caused by updates.
Bug= In story mode People in camp continuously comment that Author is cold regardless of temperature or clothes being worn, affects all versions of the game!

Sony is cultivating an environment lately that I think does an good job of weeding out junk and let the true quality games rise. Indies are well known for abusing naming structures and artwork to trick people into buying their games borderline false advertising. I mean do you want all that garbage cluttering up your storefront just as you open it up? If an indie game is good it will eventually do well.

To be fair they are handling multiple platforms, and the campaign is pretty short, if you haven't beaten it by now might be a good idea to restart on a more easy difficulty anyway.

Im not gonna complain about having a free upgrade but there is a significant disk space difference between the ps4 version and ps5 version...... When I checked I thought nah..... not worth taking up space on the console drive (I think its like 50gb) vs less disk space on an external. After that last patch game plays great, all it needed was dualsesense integration.
