In SOME cases developers are putting graphics over gameplay. Be more selective. I prefer to play games that strike a good balance.
I dont think they really did much anyways. Nothing I've noticed. Just tinkering with existing epicness in order to make it slightly more epic.
I'm not trolling... I wasn't even remotely trying to slight PC gamers in any way nor get their attention. People generally game on consoles, and publishers love consoles because they are profitable standardized units.

It does. But Fallout is a different game. Different dev. Different engine. Different systems governing the simulation. Hell, we haven't even got a good look at it yet. Whose to say it wont look amazing as well?
I mean, I've been listening to ppl tell me that The Witcher looks underwhelming for weeks. Clearly there is no pleasing everyone.
If the game is a crapton of fun and still looks that good, there is no reason to complain.
I think it makes sense and we will all get better games as a result. Much easier for a studio not to worry so much about budgeting and marketing, and focus on making the best game they possibly can for a single platform. Especially for a mid-sized studio that cant afford to spread itself thin.
I bet a game like Destiny would have been a lot better had they narrowed their focus to 1 or 2 consoles.
A service, definitely? more games to PC? for sure. But Xbox as a console isn't going anywhere int he foreseeable future. Consoles are too profitable, and there is no viable alternative. If you think people are going to resort to PC for their gaming needs then you're kidding yourself.
Microsoft is a business. They are expanding that business to make money.
Apparently, making money is something that the competition doesn't understand.... =)
I see nothing but positives in their new direction, more games for everyone and unification of platforms. Looking forward to hearing what they have to say, Phil's speech at GDC was great.

Graphics looks great. Especially considering that the game will undoubtedly have a ton of complex systems that hog processing power. Will be a better game for it.

I dont see Halo 5 coming to PC. I think MCC is more likely. Maybe Halo 5 at some point down the road, I dont know.

I think Happy Wars shows promise. If these guys ramp up and get a good team together they could end up making something that's really fun. I'm looking forward to seeing what they're working on.

Yeah, I like shooting and driving... lol. All those are pretty interchangeable, great start for the console imo. Dying to see Motorsport 6 this month.
I am keeping an eye on Ubi, as they are inevitably going to explode with a flurry of excellent tactical shooters over the next couple years. The Division, Rainbow Six and Splinter Cell will all undoubtedly be fantastic games. This gen doesn't start without Tom Clancy games on the scene, IMO.
Keeping an eye out for Tom Clancy, a new Farcry(though its too soon, now). Really enjoying Airmech Arena at the moment.
Just give me tactical shooters, damn it!

The engine used by Bethesda has proven EXTREMELY versatile, especially by the modding community. I put it up there with R*'s engine. No need to fix what aint broke.
