I think you're dramatically overstating things, there.
The new trailer says that full reveal is 9:30am on the 15th... MS conference time. There is almost certainly some sort of deal here, whether it be marketing or time exclusivity who can say? I would guess the latter, based on history.
Anyways, the trailer was nothing but sounds.... but AWESOME sound. Sounds like an incredibly souped up Garden Warfare. Gotta say, this is easily one of my most anticipated announcements at E3. Was hoping they would show us a little glimpse of it ...

I think this might be the perfect year to grab NBA 2K. Have been really enjoying my free copy of NBA Live 16... so time to step it up a bit.
I payed 100$ more for 2 years of unmitigated awesomeness and 2 extra years of improved quality over last gen. More than worth it, IMO. Though these new bundles are a steal.
who cares? It's a spin off. Wouldn't be the first time in the history of earth that a spinoff hasn't resembled the original titles. Cant believe ppl try and make a big deal out of this. They are making a game, could be fun, beyond that who gives a flying fignewton?

I'm psyched. Looks like E3 came early this year. PVZGW is hugely underrated imo, have been hoping they would make another one.
Definitely going to pick this up when I spot it at the right price. I'm not actually actively looking for the right price, but one day I'll look at the used game shelf at EB and it will be @ $35 surrounded by a heavenly glow with a choir singing ominously on the background.
I'm finding it hard to keep playing, personally. Its just so time consuming, I cant play it if I have an hour or two and still feel like I've made meaningful progress. Its the sort of game I will definitely go back to on those rare days where I can just game for 5 hours.

Anyone desperate enough to pick out the negatives here is completely missing the point. Their opinions are irrelevant. This game isnt for them, its for fans, and no fan jumps ship so easily from something they love.
MCC is friggen phenomenal. Played through HaloCE for the first time in some-odd 10 years last month, and "sublime" doesnt even begin to cover it. Such a pleasure, with the remastered visuals CE still stands above any there FPS campaign, imo. About 3/4ths...

I dont recall any promises at all. just showing a bunch of games and stuff. I'm perfectly happy going into E3 with faith in both platform holders. If you manage your expectations then you cant lose.
Rivals was garbage. This is a reboot. The internet is good.
Clean slate, IMO. Hype fully intact here.
