I agree. Anyone who's had any real experience in the industry knows this article is a waste of space.
Now I know the PS4 will win the next generation. Here is the proof. It can play PS3 games. Not because it's backwards compatible or anything convenient like that. Because you can indeed take a PS3 game and remake it to work on the PS4. The future is bright indeed.
I think people are setting themselves up for disappointment. The game is great and will hopefully do well but Vita's problems run deeper than this game can fix. The only Vita killer app is a major price drop and a reinvention of it memory card.
Remote play on the PS4 is local wifi only so you would essentially be limited to playing the game on your Vita while sitting in front of you TV and PS4. To me this completely defeats the purpose. Essentially making a PS4/Vita with expensive memory card combo into a WiiU with a bigger latency. Its a completely impractical and outrageously expensive "me too" solution that Sony has come up with.

Systems get hacked all the time. Nintendo has never had a problem with hacking and home brew and it never hurt their sales. Its companies like Sony overrating and creating 100 dollar proprietary memory cards to combat hacking that screws people. Not Nintendo.
If one were to judge a game base solely on its ending then Bioshock Infinite is the only truly good game to come out in years. FarCry 3, Gears of War 3, God of War 3, Assassins Creed 3, Dead Space 3, Heavy Rain, DMC and many many more all have universally terrible endings. They wont simply because they cant... yet. It'll probably be at least two more Call of Duty games before they go all in on the PS4 and Nextbox, There will be nowhere near the install base needed on the next gen systems for at least a couple years. The average sales for a Call of Duty game reaches somewhere in the 20 million units range. With everyone so sure that Nintendo is going to take a dive . Meanwhile this company loses billions (plural) and hasn't turned a profit in 4 years is the one no one is worried about. Denial is a hell of a thing.

Games take a long time to make. News to no one. Of course there wont be any crazy exclusives for the launch. Those games will take years to make. It's mostly gonna be a 3 or 4 rushed no risk next gen exclusives and a shit ton of cross plat games that will also be available for he PS3 and PS4 and Xbox 360. It's common sense.
Their games will still be there and news sites will be reporting on them. It doesn't really matter to me if they have a formal announcement or not. Nintendo will still have gameplay and impressions and trailers and announcements, everything that comes with E3. All that will be missing is a major press conference. I don't need to see Reggie up on a stage to get all that.
Ya know I thought we would stop seeing these kinds of articles as soon as 2K and Valve announced they would also not be attending but alas I suppose that was expecting too much from video game "journalists". I'm more inclined to believe that Vita owners are looking for a savior. A game that will resurrect the ailing system and give it the recognition it deserves. I personally don't think this is gonna be it. If Uncharted, Call of Duty, Assassins Creed and PlayStation All Stars couldn't help the system then a new IP like Soul Sacrifice wont do much to change things.
I think Vita is gonna suffer until Sony finally delivers on the promise of cross play for their major...
It's really hard to sell me on how awesome this is since I've been doing it on my PC for about 6 years now. So Far it seems that the PS4 has been playing catch up as opposed to truly being innovative.
The game isn't even out in the US yet. How can you say its better if you haven't played it?
Nah they would lose money. If every person who owns a Vita bought the game they could only ever get around 4 million in sales. It's just not enough. Not when you can safely release the game on the 3DS that has a 30 million install base. You need to be realistic.
Man Sony were huge dicks back them. For what it's worth I'm glad this last generation made them a little more "humble". We will see if it lasts.
