I don't know, I always thought FF10 was pretty much an overrated FF game. Crisis Core was okay as a portable game but a lot of repetitive side missions and a badly written retconned fan fiction held me back from giving it a high praise and I wasn't a big fan of the grinding system based on luck instead of actual experience.
DBS is awful. I don't know what were they thinking with the new Berserk anime?
Did I say RE7? Shit, my mistake.
I think that RE7 should be remade in the first place but you people asked for it so we'll see what will come out of it.
Oh, for crying out loud, just release the full game for PS5 when it's out.
It never really needed to happen. The only reason why Square-Enix is remaking the game is because they were out of ideas for the next Final Fantasy project or a new IP and fanboys needed something to fill in their wankfest. The original is available in almost every platform imaginable. You can also play it on your smartphones. It's definitely rough around the edges and graphics are dated as a sour milk but at least it's still playable. Maybe remake will surprise me. Even Resident Evil...
Scientifically proven? I mean I like FFVII as a game but isn't that a bit stretching? I thought the quality is subjective.
Well considering the Japanese sales of FFXV, it really isn't a challenging task.
That's a very poorly managed criticism regarding the feedback of the games and post launch fixes. Gamers have payed a hard earned money just to play the game because of their high expectations. So regarding the plethora of glitches, performance issues and unfinished aspects, we're being childish because we want the game to be played and performed better after we payed 60$? So it's okay to justify the completely corporate and authoritarian practices from major corporations even if ...
This article you wrote is offensive to our brain capacities.
Well Ni No Kuni 2 is going to use this style and it still works well. It would make sense if they use that huge memory capacity of the current gen consoles to add more stuff instead of minimizing the content. Barren open world game filled with pointless bitch quests and very few towns makes less sense to me than ''diorama style'' map design.
So that's why it felt unfinished. No wonder why they spent all those years to design an open world game instead of fleshing out the story and adding more towns and landscapes.
So there's a slight chance FFXVI goes back to overworld maps probably? Filled with cities, towns, landscapes, etc. and no extra development time? I surely hope so.
With a marketing like that? It's hard to believe.
I definitely agree. Using the Unreal 4 engine will simplify the development process.
Well since they're using the Unreal 4 engine, I don't believe it will take them that long.
Using Luminos Engine would just prolong the development of FFVII remake. Square-Enix can't really afford it at the moment. Each year of game development raises the cost publishers are willing to take. That's the reason FFXV was so highly marketed. To sell it to a wider audience since it was far too long on a pre-production. A delayed game is an expensive one. MGSV was on development for 6 years. That's the reason the game looks unfinished. Because Konami didn't want to invest ...
What a disappointing reveal. I really didn't expect a release date for FFVII remake but at least they could have give us another trailer with Tifa and 7th Heaven. Instead we got an art piece. All that hype for a whimper.
Then Japanese gaming market is doomed on the long run.
Well it depends on how you elaborate on ''Final Fantasy is back'' sentence. To me it's more like they're milking an aging cow.
