Wayforward are developing this!? NICE.
It's an okay game but having it to play on a portable system could work well for it, as long as they don't force always online. We'll see!
The experience is very disjointed. That's my main critique of the game. I love the quests and characters, and enjoy much of the skill system (except having to use a skill point to even use your boosters, and another skill point to get a stealth meter).
The Dbrand website is pretty great though - almost makes me want to purchase from them (but I'm sticking with the default white covers).
Honestly, there are a lot of loading screens (quick, but many) and menu navigation. That definitely detracts from the core gameplay, which is classic Bethesda RPG and still fun. I'm only a few hours in and will keep playing. Currently it's landing at about an 8 out of 10 for me, and this score is only because the missions have been a lot of fun. Navigating the map and space exploration is quite cumbersome and, frankly, boring. Other games have found a good balance with navigating plan...
I know, this game may not be great, or even good, but I cannot wait to play this. Good to see Lewis is in the game.
This. If it had a better launch, with all the features they originally promised, then it would have done much better.
Good idea. You can't miss out on your platform having what could be GOTY because of a likely little used feature - as cool as that feature may be.
This game is amazing. I'm a huge fan of Marble Blast Ultra, and this new one is from the same creators. Definitely recommended.
You know who else wins? Nintendo's next-gen console. Yes, this is all speculation, but my guess is Nintendo's next console will be similar in specs to the Series S. This means, any Series S port can potentially run on Nintendo's next-gen console, which means any game on Series X will also be available for the Switch's successor. Just speculating though!
That headline sounds about right for the state of games "journalism" these days.
It's over folks! Time to move on.
I would love 60fps if possible. Honestly though, I've put so many hours into Zelda TotK and don't even think about the frame rate. As long as Starfield's framerate is fairly stable and the gameplay is as good as I hope it will be, then I probably won't even notice.
The eye tracking shown in the trailer for Wanderer (when the character is in front of the mirror) is really cool. I'll be checking that one out.
I really don't mind that it's 4K 30 FPS (of course I'd prefer a higher frame rate), but this is a bad take. Phil needs to take a step back from the "marketing speak" on this.
Yeah, the Crossfire game on Xbox is awful. That alone keeps me from being hyped for this game.
My favorite AC game. I also really enjoyed the co-op too.
That sounds fun. I'll be checking this out.
I'm a big Robocop fan and this actually looks pretty great. I'll likely pick this up if reviews are decent.
It's crazy to see a game that blew my mind as a kid with its pre-rendered backgrounds and FMV, can now be experienced in real-time VR. Thanks for posting this review.
