The best parts of Suicide Squad, from the "alpha" I played, are the story sections where you're not even controlling your character - at least those parts were interesting. I found the gameplay to be tedious and boring. I tried exploring the city trying to find the fun but, even with the dense cityscape, there's nothing going on aside from shooting 4 or 5 enemies on rooftops that spawn every 2 minutes. I miss the HDMI IN and using Kinect for voice controls - never really cared for the camera part of Kinect. Now I have a Fire TV Cube and use that for voice controls.

A reboot such as God of War 2018 won't work as long as the focus on Gears of War multiplayer continues. Multiplayer-focused games are, by their nature, not cinematic. It's not always a bad thing, but multiplayer gameplay mechanics are, in general, at odds with story-telling single player mechanics. It would take stripping co-op from the game and focusing on the story, instead of multiplayer maps and dlc customizations to get anywhere near the cinematic adventure of God of War 2018.
Dang, I used to play that Ultraman SNES game all the time when I was a kid.
