It's a fair point, but I'd still rather have to pay for Live to get all its features (which IMO are better than the PS3s), the security and its established community. All things I think are worth the cash. I don't think I've even used the voice chat function on my PS3!
But that's the point. Next-gen, there's a chance almost all games will appear on every console. From a business perspective, for the devs, it makes way more sense to have your game on three consoles and not one. It's important for a game to get the biggest audience possible. Look at CoD, on two systems it sells way more than it would if it were exclusive.
No, it means they are making less and they are becoming less important to the industry as a whole.
Thanks very much The Beast. I am indeed one and the same :)
Good, glad you read it and agree ;)
Winter is coming
dailynch, we'll take it on together!
Bring the pain, I can take it. (I so can't take it)
Argh, Skyrim!! I can't wait for you!! Bloody hurry up!
Good point. I'm not sure how much I care about game movies, or even books and comics. Some games should stay just that.
That was different. That wasn't Square attempting to make a Hollywood movie. That was just to pander to its fans. something it probably should have don in the first place.
Yawn
Lol, but you sound creepier, that's the trick! :)
That's a little bit creepy dude.
I've never played an Assassin's Creed but I think this is going to suck!
Yes, heavens forbid we'd report on one of the biggest scandals of this generation. Face it, Sony made a massive cock-up, there's a very real chance Microsoft will benefit from this. This isn't a trolling article, it's just one that highlights something PS3 fans would rather forget.
I posted it. But, alas, I too am not the author of this fine piece of work.
Umm, it did collapse. We're talking about now. How about the three weeks it was offline and all those personal details lost to criminal elements. If you ask me 'collapse' might be putting it lightly!
It's flamebait if the PS3 fanboys don't like it. Them's the rules! And they've got so much more to ignore these days, it must be really hard for them!
It's more that the CryEngine is easy to work with Kinect. Clearly, creating games that are controlled by gestures is NOT easy, otherwise we'd have loads of them by now. And ones that aren't basic renditions of Wii games or party games.
