Can the author of this article please answer the following question?
Why didn't you do an article on Microsoft's plans to release a motion sensing controller? It has been rumored that MS is working on a motion sensing controller before banjo-kazooie even came out on the 360 so why the hell would you ask Sony not to make one when MS is the one that is more likely to do it?
This is the same situation as the "Sony gives 60 million gamers the finger" article wh...

The 360 has been ahead of the ps3 in the U.S. by the difference has been getting smaller every year.
It's pretty much even in Europe with the ps3 and 360
and in Japan (with the exception of a month or two) the PS3 is ahead of the 360 by far (and always has been)

In related news, the PS3 has been raping the 360 month-to-month for the past 3 years (with the exception of 1-2 months) in Japan.

The article is utter garbage as it fails to point out the most important reason why Microsoft seeks 3rd party support more than Sony does...
it's because Microsoft's first part games aren't nearly as great(in terms of quality and quantity) as Sony's first party games.
The 360's best games are 3rd party (except a few rare gems like halo3) but Sony's best games are first party (LittleBigPlanet, Resistance, Killzone2, God of War3, Motorostorm, Uncharted, Ratchet&Cl...
I like how all these BS "articles" end with ? which pretty much says
"we know its not true but we're just throwing an idea we pulled out of our asses out there to see how many hits we can get"
That's such a childish thing to say. I don't recall Sony ever saying Grand Turismo 3 outsold the GameCube (it did...but Sony wan't being a di*k about it and rubbing it in Nintendo's face)
The author also forgot Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, Shadow of Colossus, ICO (all of which have sold extremely well)
why do articles like this always get so much attention? when are people gonna realize that if you want garbage like this to go away then you have to stop paying attention it. The more attention you give it, the more hits it gets and the more you'll see s*** like this on N4G.

Jaffe is not the one at fault here. Its the title of the article that should be criticized for being misleading. If you watch the whole video, the quote is taken completely out of context.
The article may have just as easily been titled
"Jaffe: GEARS OF WAR's story is "total rip-off of aliens"
wait...soooo....I noticed that the 360 version had a slightly higher average....and then I noiced that the x-play and Edge reviews (which gave RE5 the lowest scores) are only in the PS3 section. What gives? they drag the PS3 version's average score down even though both x-play and edge reviewed RE5 for both consoles....sounds like BS to me.
The problem with this article is that the authors presents his OPINIONS as facts. If you didn't like certain aspects of the multiplayer in killzone2, then that's YOUR OPINION because obviously the majority of people (including me) don't have any issues with it.
You're obviously free to express your opinion but when you use the title "Killzone 2 multiplayer has a bad aftertaste" then you're making it seem like your opinions are facts.

I'll believe it when I see it. Until then I'll be playing my Killzone2.
Maybe 3 years later there will be an xbox360 game that finally trumps Killzone2's graphics but by then the PS3 is going to have games that far surpass Killzone2.
This is is just like when the Alan Wake footage were released and everyone was saying that 360 can do better graphics than killzone2. The footage was from a tech demo on the PC.
WTF is crackdown doing on the list? I mean it was a good game but not "TOP 20" good....Take out crackdown, project gotham, and fifa and replace them with CALL OF DUTY 4, RATCHET & CLANK, and...hmm....either Prince of Persia or Left 4 Dead
I think real gamers are smart enough to know that the only reason why the 360 is ahead of the ps3 in terms of sales is because of its 1 year head start. and did you already forget that not only is the PS3 leading in japan and europe but also in the U.S. it caught up with the 360 in terms of sales in 2008.
Halo1? yes...absolutely. In fact Halo was the only reason why I bought my original xbox (well...that and Knights of the Old Republic). but Halo2 and ESPECIALLY halo3 were WAY over-rated...just go back and play halo3 after playing killzone 2 or Call of Duty 4 and you'll know what I mean. and before you say I'm a fanboy or whatever let me remind you that I own all 3 consoles (this generation and the last one) and I also think Resistance is over-rated.
you're certainly entitled to your opinion but you should know that most people (including me) disagree with you on that. Even without the graphics, killzone2 is a fantastic game from a gameplay perspective. But don't take my work for it...just look at the 93% meta-critics average as well as the dozens of editor's choice awards from across the board.
oh and to your comment on how killzone2 isn't "something you would want to sell your soul for"...I don't any game is wort...

Have you ever stopped to think that maybe the 360 has some technical limitations that make it impossible to run certain games on it (i.e. killzone2, heavy rain, uncharted2, God of War 3, etc.)? We all know that the 360's GPU is slighly more powerful than the PS3 but the PS3 makes up for that with its mandatory HDD, blu-ray drive, and cell processor...
