First of all, your basing your whole article on a couple of games that were just announced. You somehow failed to mention the dozens of AAA PSP games that are in development. So if you already have all these great games AND what's available on the iPhone (or any other platform), consumers will only benefit from it.

And like Sony said, the PSPGo is NOT meant to replace the older PSPs. It is simply geared towards gamers who want to go digital (download their games straight to hard drive as opposed to buying UMDs). In fact, I'm very interested in the PSP GO so obviously there is a market for it.

PSN IS FREE. A lot of people (including me) don't believe in paying to play online so for us, PSN is just fine.
Can I download demos? yes. Can I plan online? yes. Can I play PS1 games? yes. Can I download and watch movies? yes. That's ALL I care about so I'm perfectly content with PSN.
