I can see the front and back control option because of the way I inherently react to things on the screen. Side to side... not so much.

Isn't that the point of being "early"? The "vague details" give developers enough to know what they are working with and puts pressure on the other platform holders to one up or follow suit.

Everyone lambasted the PS3 ADDED Facebook support as if it were the only method of Facebook interaction but completely glazed over or were ignorant to the PS3's Browser and ability to login to Facebook through it.
When Facebook was announced as an added feature on the Xbox 360 for Gold members, it was met with elation even though it meant you had to pay for the the ability to use it!
When the PS3 is doing well, the news is muted or negative.

It's a very odd statement. The full list of sales (top 40) does show the PS3 exclusives.
the PS3 will see the same numbers when Gran Turismo 5 hits in Japan and God of War 3 hits in the US. And to think that there are still yet more exclusives coming the question is how close will Sony get to Microsoft or what will Microsoft bring in exclusives.
Very safe. It's odd that Uncharted 2 was clearly considered for almost every category but was not picked as Game of the Year. Fishy if you ask me.
Every time I think I'm in the market to get a 360, the RRoD or some random failure scares me off. The question now is, If I can get the same game either for my PS3 (launch 60GB) or on PC, is there a reason to buy a 360?
Resistance 1 had a great deal of atmosphere and a pretty good multiplayer. It failed when aspects of Nathan Hale and the world broke. IT also played a bit too much like every other shooter by making you re trudge threw levels.
Resistance 2 corrected the story elements but played way more linear then R1. After beating R2 a few times, its clear they went to far in one direction and did away with things that would make the second game familiar. Here are a few things for example. <...

I have to agree with XxSpiiKeZxX. You DID miss the point. Remember you ARE the main character and you have to control her moves and decisions. He has a gun. If she was unconvincing or unwilling flashing her chest is the least of her worries. The fact that YOU the gamer have to perform convincingly infront of this character IS DISTURBING.
Oddly Sony still had it's own sport dev. team, but we all know EA would be committing suicide if they tried to pull the same stunt with Sony. This probably the same time that sport license exclusivity was more lucrative.
