They should have made this available for the retail version. I dont see me buying this game if they expect me to dish out even more money for stuff that should be in a game. As a matter of fact,, I wont even rent this game. This isn't 2007 where both ps3 and 360 users only had limited selection of games. I have too many games to play as it is.. Good try Valve.

Ive bought every map pack to date,, and I must say that this game felt totally incomplete till the last mappack. Im totally into this game now that I can use a jet pack. The game totally feels different and the music and trophies have truly made this game a gem in the Sony brand. I can say that I havent had this much fun since COD4 first came out. This game is a must for anyone who is into shooters and doesn't mind online gaming. This is the Halo killer everyone has been waiting for.
And I feel that EA doesn't care about us ps3 users. Getting kicked off line over and over again is getting really old. Last year, I experienced the same thing with nba live 08, and all I gotta say is, after Mercs 2, I will never buy another EA game again. They have screwed me over way to many times and I dont even care if their servers are good this time around.

Since you wanna talk about sales and figures. Gears 1 came out in 06, sold 4. 7 mil, Resistance came out almost a year later with sales around 3. mil. Lets see,, Gears had been out a year before Resistance and despite a 10 million user base differance, could only sell a little more then a million copies. Also, this year Resistance 2 is gonna be 6 times bigger then Gears,, and lets not forget dedicated servers.

I beat it in one day, and I really made myself finish the game. I think the cover system is dumb,, having to press the same button to do everything is a really bad idea. Also, have to put a whole clip into somebody is really annoying. The chainsaws were cool, at first, then it just got repetitive. If Gears is so good, then why is COD4 still the #1 played game on live? Lets get serious here though. Gears wont overshawdow anything. The only people getting this game are the same people who only have a 360 and dont have anything else to play. Also, Fable 2 is my most anticipated 360 game this year. Im so sick of hearing about this game. Ive seen the vids, its more or less the same as the first one. Maybe if it had 10 vs. 10 it would be great for multiplayer,but this 5 vs. 5 is crap. They need to change the formula, and make it fresh again. Not just add different weapons but do something different with the gameplay to make you feel like a total bad ass.
