He looks more "voodoo" than goth to me. Interpret that as you will. Voice should definitely be deeper and maybe more "black" sounding.

How much can they really evolve? A fighting game is a pretty simple concept, there isn't a universe of possibilities with kicking someone's ass or 1v2/1v3/2v2/2v4/4v4 type matches.
Capcom resurrected the fighting genre?
What about Tekken 6? What about Soul Calibur? What about every other fighting franchise that has been steady running since the 90s?

I mean, there's at least 10 other PSN classics that are easily more desired than fucking FF origins. You can get the best versions of both of these games on PSP anyway.

That's not my logic at all. The PS2 was arguably the best console last gen because of the games that were available. A lot of people really liked the system, the sales figures had nothing to do with the perceived quality.
...Except for the story, which should be way more important than anything else in a FF.
