Waited years for the option to get in a snowspeeder, fly up to the outer atmosphere, detonate a Star Destroyer whilst narrowly dodging it's explosive rubble before landing on the ground to push back the remaining storm troopers.
Guess I'll have to wait another decade. eh.
I've always wondered what this is actually called. I just called it the "Hollywood lens effect" haha, seriously when you watch big blockbusters, that spectral distortion on the edges of objects kind of gives a nice little finish to a film.
I noticed a lot of games had started using it. I kind of assumed it was to make them more cinematic.
Targeting 10x the power of the PS3 was great for allowing developers to create open world games with last gen linear visuals.
If the PS5 targets 10x the power of the PS4, then I think we'll have a whole other beast.
Didn't unity come out at the end of last year? Why are they releasing a new one when they haven't fixed the old one?
Bout flippin time we get some legendary games on next gen consoles.
It'd be sick if they just open up the conference with the line "war, war never changes", then giant doors splitting the darkness of the screen open as we're all introduced to a post-apocalyptic city landscape. But rather than keeping things horizontal like ALL Bethesda games do. Perhaps this one starts off with you exiting the top of a skyscraper knocked against another.
Then glide straight off it into a lower level of the building.

Looks freaking awesome. Wasn't sure how comparable it would be to the PC version, but it's pretty strong. Might get it for PS4 instead of PC after all.
The EULA is horsesh*t. It should NOT dictate or control what somebody does with their own purchased copy of a videogame in the privacy of their home.
That's disgusting and oppressive to our rights to imagination and creativity as a human being.
I'm sure the game will look great visually. It's how the DLC milking plays out that I'm worried about.
Expansions should cost money.
Skins, additional weapons or one off characters should be free.
Man this is a bloody awesome article. I love all three ideas, and would kill to see them all come to fruition in the next couple of years. Especially a Star Wars Mass Effect type game.
Oooooh, most of that stuff is comparing high quality screenshots to compressed gameplay. It doesn't take into account different PC settings and time of day either. With that said, the lower poly models are slightly disappointing. Although we have to be reasonable in what they would need to scale back to accommodate a larger community of gamers.
The only thing I'm worried about with my system is my GPU. It's a GTX 690, but it only has 2GB of VRAM. I also have a 144...
Sweet stuff, but still a bit too pricey
Doesn't it piss anyone else off that this game has been funded SO QUICKLY when for f******g years people have wanted platformers, only to have to publishers push them aside in exchange for endless fps and gimmick based games because that's what the community supposedly wanted.
I am ecstatic that we're finally getting a revival of old school platformers. However, it is complete and utter horse sh*t that we've had to wait this long.
But @-Foxtrot, publishers know best and we all want first person shooters and rehashed yearly franchises remember?

I don't think Rocksteady will do that. They've worked too long and hard on this game as their masterpiece to wreck it with petty microtransactions.
I was being super dramatic, it's N4G shhhhhhhhhhhh haha
Really disappointed I spent so much money on half a game.
Noticed that as well, such bs. I'm hoping it's just a mistake and they forgot to include us in that section.
Good lawd, twins tho.
I've played a fair bit of the game now, and I've got to say, easy fatalities are no big deal. It doesn't affect the guys who like to pull it off the real way, and it let's the un-coordinated or less experienced players enjoy the most brutal aspect of MK.
Now what I don't like, is how garbage the koin rewards are. It literally takes hours upon hours to unlock a couple of things in the Krypt.
That kind of practice to force users into buying ...
George Lucas? haha, but seriously I kind of always just assumed they could go into the upper atmosphere.
