I think they gotta now that Valve has put pressure on both of them, and basically said hey we want it free, were offering it free on PC side, it's really up to MSoft and Sony if they want to offer it free or not on console side.
Still, there is value in controlling all the Sports franchises (Basically they'd have no competition in NHL, Basketball, and only competition from Sony MLB the Show series for baseball)....
And as well owning the property rights to Bioshock series, GTA series, amongst others...even if done by a totally different dev team is still pretty big.

Relax, No one said VGChartz is 100% accurate, No one believes that it's 100% accurate. It's just to give you an idea, it's not like there WAY WAY off, yes there off everyone knows that sometimes they over estimate 360 sales, and under-track PS3 sales, and sometimes their bang on too.
But it's the only way to track # week in and week out especially in other terrorities, that don't even release monthly numbers (Like NPD or weekly media create #).

360 although doing terribly in Japan, has sold more in LESS time than the original XBOX (That's gotta be encourgaging atleast).
The Original Xbox sold 500 K in japan in like 4-5 years total there, The 360 has sold so far nearly 600 K in about 3+ years.

No doubt 360 has awesome shooters FPS/1st, and some really nice RPG's... But for example what's 360 best action adventure, platform style game?
Is it as good as say Ratchet and Clank for PS3 or hell Mario Galaxy for Wii?
360 is an excellent system for those PC style games like FPS games, and like, but it's the other style of games that it doesn't excell in, atleast not yet...
Like Peg said, considering games now charge 60 bucks, games have to be either exceptionally good, or offer alot of value for hardcore to purchase, where as buying a movie (Standard DVD's for example) can be purchased between 8-20 bucks. At best a new release game you might get a special for 40-50 bucks...that's still fairly pricey.

why would it be a game that we haven't even heard, or offically announced. How would they keep it all under wraps (Not even announce it) and be in testing mode already. Games rarely if ever follow that method.
Maybe..maybe..it's Resident Evil 5. But it's definitely a game that has been announced...in my opinion.
For the record I doubt it's Lost Planet Colonies (Testing) when we haven't even heard about the game being officially announced.
To me it might be Bionic Commando, or SF IV, or something that capcom has announced, and is far along in development, that it'd warrent this kind of testing.
If so, it's still interesting that the devs they have is 360, I thought Capcom said it would be moving multiplat games on either PC and then from their code it respective consoles, or to PS3 first then 360, as it's easier that way, then the other way around.
I'm interested in finding out what he's working on, and will it be multi plat? Console exclusive to some system, etc.
This game looks totally out there...still don't have concrete opinion on this game.
