Because it acts as potential spoilers, as now we know more stuff about the game we shouldn't have discovered till playing it.
I think it will, as that's when the phone is scheduled to release 3rd or 4th quarter I believe.
agreed with 1.1
This is one of the lowest scores I've seen for the game, I can understand giving the score to this if it was priced as full game, and should thus in turn reviewed as full game. But it's priced lower the fan full game, although still pricey (But alot of review sites, say you can do a lot of stuff in the game), yet it still scores low on the basis it's not fully featured. Not that graphics aren't good, or the gameplay mechanics are broken.
The source is Digit times...digit times seems more legit though. That'd be like reuters part taking in april fools, not saying it isn't an april fools joke, at first I thought for sure it was an april fools joke, but when you go to source, and look, it doesn't seem like the site that would run an april fools joke, but i could be wrong.
NPD this month? GT 5 Prologue isn't released in US for march month, unless your talking about next month (april).
Chart track measures sales in europe, but they don't really put their numbers out to the public, like NPD does.
LOL Cry anymore? Maybe you should report is as dupe like you usually do. ;)
RElax people, I understand if you don't like "VGChartz" and the whole they make/guess their #, but if you don't like it, why do you spend so much energy going into these very stories stating so. Everyone knows it's not 100% accurate, no one is claiming it's the be all and end all. If you don't like the numbers, don't come in I say, it simple as that.
As for people saying it's adupe, the story isn't a dupe...The other story is an analysis of the # of the past week, an ...
There is some discrepancies in the review, the slam it by saying it's a "glorified demo", yet they praise it for being a game that has more content than most full games, and especially GT heads will enjoy. And they also fail to mention although somewhat pricey, it's still cheaper than most regular retail games...
That's what I assumed, but there have been a few interview with Sony peeps, and there much publizied that they now report "sold" as not "sold to retails" but to consumers, that they can data from retailers, etc.
That's a sad story...
NPD will only reveal the US side of things, Europe is handled by Chart-Track and they don't seem to announce month sales, and Japan is handled by Media Create.
The best case to get the most accurate numbers is quarter reports from the manufactures themselves, Nintendo (Always) and Sony (Now) report in sold to consumers, and not 100% sure if Msoft has changed their ways as to reports sold to consumers or "sold" to retailers.
Most big site reviews have been in the 6-7 range...
They really need to make this as remake, with some extras for PS3.
Neat hidden update....
That's probably more accurate, if you go with insane level tech, it'll require developers to pour even more resources, your already hearing about 25-30 million dollar budgets for some games... I don't think Videogame developers want to hit higher marks, unless they can gain mass appeal like movies do, then they can do 100 mill budgets like movies.
uh huh! ;)
when i first read this, I thought it was an april fool joke, like this couldn't be possibly a real story/game.
Kinda of dumb to not atleast attempt some sort of online play, ability...not just a straight PS2 port.
I think it's likely it'll sell 5 mill on each platform, putting in the 10 mill range within the next few months.
I dunno how much Halo 3 lifetime sales are, but when you combine COD 4 numbers isn't coming close to Halo 3 numbers?
