i actually liked MW2's third person view, but its nowhere as good as socom. the main reason for me is the horrible view perspective, it feels like i'm playing split screen since the top screen is cut off so much.
and like the guy above me said, socom 4 by zipper will be the bees-knees. confrontation is already a pretty decent shooter, but after seeing how ND handled multiplayer for uncharted 2 and how much online gaming is advancing, i'm sure socom 4 will be the end-all-be-all ...
actually, there's only a very slight level of aim assist compared to most console shooters and the gun recoil more than accommodates the sense of realism and difficulty of shooting a weapon on full auto. also, the mouse and keyboard combo is hell of a lot more accurate than dual sticks.
whatever the case is, the recoil is very manageable in counter strike.

don't worry ND, you'll get a sale from me soon
hey, i really like this guy's idea. he posted it on the webpage.
"I really like trophies. a lot. i like achievments too, but not as much as trophies.. if there is one thing that they both need. its some kinds rewards program for them, like access to betas, avatars/gamerpictures (ps3 and xbox respectivly), themes or more other interesting things to be given to.."
excellent idea! unlockables would be sweet.
LMAO!!!!
you guys remind me of chowder for some reason lol!
lol yes, doom 3 was pretty damn cool and it was the first game that actually scared me a few times like when satan would talk and the whole room would turn red. sick stuff.
i loved listening to iron maiden when playing the game. you should listen to the "caught somewhere in time" album when playing doom 3. not only that, killzone 2 sounds cool with it too.
i wish the PSN would do a XMB make over.
lol you really need to hop off microsoft's schlong. that fruity pic of yours doesn't help either, you suave-wannabe.
"Comedy is one of the greatest untapped resources of the shooter game and those which harness it properly are sure to succeed commercially and critically"
this is why i want another time splitters game.
here's some rage footage from a few months ago. really hope the console versions can look like this.

just imagine how godly Doom 4 will look. Rage already looks better than 90% of most games on the market and it's a open world 60FPS sandbox game. doom 4 will be more corridor based and released later, thus resulting into a better looking game which i can drool to. rage is just the beginning of great things from idsoftware.
lol i love it how HHG uses that same phrase frequently in all of their editorials and podcasts. "in terms of *such and such*." those guys need to take some english classes and build up on their vocabulary.
"And if it is as good and fun as Gears what's the problem?"
the problem is that Gears of war wasn't all that fun, but then again, thats just my opinion.
lmao
i liked the explosive-round magnum revolver and sniper rifle from resistance 2. pretty unique usage of the guns.
i think i know what you're talking about. it's like a completely underwater world and the developers are trying to make the best water graphics ever. it's called hydro-something i think.
i agreed with everything except the soundtrack. i thought some segments of the game would've been better without music just like in KZ1. sometimes the gun shooting and chaos builds an ambiance that you just can't match with a soundtrack. other than that, some of the material was john william's caliber and pretty solid.
black 2
time splitters 4
new deus ex
half life 3 (fat chance)

new socom with voice command campaign, co-op, and better competitive mode

new counter strike (another fat chance)
prey 2
ESPN to make a new NFL licensed football game

and some other titles that i can't think of right now
i'll just use my normal methods of seeing if the 360 is still breaking down: wait till my friends buy another 360. i told a friend of mine named chris his 360 was going to break down soon and he wouldn't believe me, but 2 weeks ago it happened. he's getting it fixed now, but it's just going to break again later i told him. experience speaks louder than words.
i wouldn't completely deny agent becoming multiplatform, but i'm positive that it isn't. i don't know why, but i just don't think it will but who knows.
