Actually I tried the code before I posted, and it did work for me. You have to enter "PSVRGAMES" at checkout, but it doesn't add or include the motion controllers, like the article reported.
The code just reduces the price by $100.
Doesn't seem to include motion controllers in the deal, like this article reports.
I agree. I usually buy games day 1, but I'll just wait for a physical release and/or a price drop. $20 for digital.
Don't forget frustration.
@blu3_puls3
That would depend on the online service as well. Imagine a portable Overwatch or Destiny 2 with proper voice chat.
First Nintendo needs to produce more switches so it's installed base increases. Developers and publishers aren't even going to consider the possibility, until that happens.
Blockbuster had a very different policy then Gamefly. Gamefly allows you to rent a game for as long as you pay your "membership" fee, Blockbuster charged you extra for late fees. I was thinking of something like a tiered service for their card members. Something similar to Gamefly. It would be competitively priced, and offer the convenience of instant acquirment through the availablity of local store locations.
No. GameStop is a dinosaur.
Here's an idea, what if GameStop rented used games like gamefly does?
I disagree, the performance gap between Xbox One and PS4 isn't that wide. Look at Nintendo consoles. What sells so many Nintendo consoles every generation? It certainly isn't the system specs. It's the exclusives. M$ bought their three biggest franchises, (minecraft,halo,gears) they didn't create them. M$ always plays it safe, and safe will eventually place them in last place.
The lack of quality exclusives, still would of limited Xbox One's success.
I hope there are no walls for Mexican Mario to overcome. Let's keep it open borders, and politically correct.
@hvaguy
I have all my games and systems since the Atari 2600. I don't sell my games or systems.
"Would be nice if there was a cheaper subscription that allowed you to play online but perhaps didn't get the "free" games, etc."
That's the solution! That choice of options would be perfect for me, and might even be cheaper for Sony. I prefer to buy my games, this way they can't be "taken away" from me.
Ugggh. 😑
I'm not accusing you of saying anything, I was just stating my view on the subject.
As far as journalism is concerned, most "journalism" today is opinionated. (Especially video games)
Why release a console and online games, without a proper online service then?
Gamers have every right to complain, they have online games, without a quality online service.
Oh, man! I hope that comes to PSVR!
Game looks good to me, but first I got to get me an Xbox One X. Still waiting on the preorders to go live....
I don't know why I got so many disagrees, but this is my preorders from that list....
Metroid: Samus Returns
Pokémon Gold and Silver
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions
Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon
Monster Hunter Stories
Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth
Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology
Shin Megami Tensei: Stra...
My 2 picks exactly. Implement Switch pro controller support, and I will preorder for launch day release!
