For the pirate buying a arcade and modding it once a year FAR outweigh the cost of buying the games each month. Arcade being the equalvilent to 4 new games at most ?

This is NOT AN ANTI-PIRACY FIX.
This is simply the newest patch bundled with the game. Every game disk comes with the latest OS update for the 360. It's for the people that doesn't connect their xbox to live. So if a game uses a new feature in the new OS then it has to make sure the 360 has the correct update and doesn't crash or something.
The cracked DVD firmware of the modded xbox 360's will not allow disks ...
Every MMO player readily pays a lot more then XBL users just to play 1 game. Paying to use an online service isn't anything new.
That said.. M$ won't raise the price to 100$. Unless they get a monopoly which doesn't seem to happening...
You know the 360 gives you the best bang for your buck. At least according to studies. The studies found that people with 360's, or multiple consoles, played a lot more on their 360 then did the PS3/Wii users. So in a pure cent per hour gamed the 360 would be the better deal.
And this article hinges on that you have to buy the wi-fi for 360. And even if you do it doesn't cost 99$. You can get it for 75$ new. Or you can get a non-M$ adapter and save a lot more.
This is not a anti-piracy issue. It's prob just the newest 360 patch/fw/os bundled with the games that use features of said patch and thus require it.
The current champion would be GT 4... And you can't seriously say that Forza 3 won't beat it..
GT 5 is the next generation. And Champion titles aren't inherited. They must be earned by each new generation.
Besides if you put up GT 5 vs Forza 3 right now, or when Forza 3 officially launches.. With GT5 being 65% or whatever completed Forza 3 would prob win.

It dropped to ~55 when he went over that hill on the second half of the track. Prob the cars and new scenery coming into view that took it down a little. As long as it doesn't drop below 50 I don't think anyone would notice. Looks smooth as it should.

They cut dynamic car gifting.. Why ? I'm guessing that if one guy would get a bugatti veyron one one level and another guy would get a lotus exige on the same level it would be unfair.
It's actually cheaper then a new full game over here atleast, sweden. About 30% less then a new popular game.
If you don't think a 6 hour campaign, yes you can speed run it faster on easy but that's not the point, then just rent it over a weekend and complete it with your friend.
I like Halo because it's about the only FPS campaigns with some semblance of replay-ability with the skulls and coop.

People have a fixed amount of money to spend on frivolous things. And either you buy a console and games or you upgrade you PC and pirate. It costs about the same...
The current copies are in french.. So not many will be playing it early world wide.
And the copies are not verified as properly stealth, stealth = impossible to detect by m$. So playing them on live would be stupid. And I do not much care for stupid people.
It's the ODST visor low light mode. I think it looks kinda neat. Enemies stand out in red. Though it does accentuate the aliasing.
It's not illegal to buy a game before release day. I doubt it's even illegal to sell it. It would be a breach of contract or some such.
