Then BioWare is dead because this game is going to be a mess of Destiny-like proportions.
This is so stupid. Loot boxes aren't gambling and the government should stay the hell out of commerce. If people really don't want loot boxes then they won't buy games that have them and companies will lose money and stop using them. Simple economics. This is just another stupid liberal power grab in response to a controversy.
Also, this is the genius who wants to have a guaranteed basic income in Hawaii. I wouldn't trust him to know anything about economic ...
If loot boxes are gambling then so are those machines where you put in a quarter and get a random prize. Exact same concept; money for something you have no control over, even though you're still guaranteed to get something.
List is split up into three pages, first page is only two games long; nothing but clickbait.
This is such a good, underrated game. I'm so glad it has thriving communities on every platform.
So is this another article from someone who can't tell the difference between fantasy and reality and assumes no one else can either? Or is the game actually bad?
Gee I wonder why she quit gaming journalism...
Same dude. Same.
Oh please, many AAA games have larger patches. Stop looking for things to get pissed off about, ffs.
This seems like a semi-subtle attempt to get clicks and stir up people in the comments. The actual article, I mean.
I love how nobody bothered to contact Armature for confirmation before running the story. Game "journalism" strikes again!
This looks like so much fun. I hope it comes soon.
This is my only problem with this game. It looks great and it's a lot of fun to play, but it's way too much of a time commitment.
"Souls-like Metroidvania" is the most cursed thing I've ever read.
Not to mention Daniel Vavra, the co-founder of Warhorse Studios, is a pretty cool dude who doesn't take shit from whiny SJWs who complain about his game not having enough "diversity".
"Youth Protection Commission". Could you possibly pick a name that sounds more Orwellian?
This is only true if you think the only reason to play games is to challenge yourself to be better at video games, which is not the case for a lot of people. Some people just want to experience a game, or a story, or explore and see what they can do, and don't want to constantly die or go through the same parts over and over again just to "git gud". Everyone gets their fun from games differently, dude. Your way isn't the only way.
Of course it is. Only uptight idiots try to police the way other people play single player games. It literally doesn't effect anyone but the person "cheating", so I've never understood why so many people get so indignant about it.
So, people are gonna be all indignant about this, but honestly, this isn't a bad thing. Official forums should be a place for people who actually have and play the game to discuss the game and report issues and bugs and the like directly to the developers. If everyone else wants to talk about a game, there are hundreds of other gaming sites and comment sections all around the internet. Also, locking a forum to owners of a game only means that a company can't dismiss complaints with th...
And most of what was wrong with ME:A was because they farmed too much of it out to third party developers, most likely because EA was forcing them to/letting them make Anthem at the same time and they devoted most of their resources to that. When BioWare puts an effort in and focuses on making a good game they can still do pretty well. Their games are way too long to ever play through more than once these days, but they're better than a lot of people want to give them credit for.
