Yes, if you want to turn a buck on a bland game. Developing on the 360 is the cost effective way of doing so. Don't try to pretend there is some great developmental/technological advantage of using the 360 first, when Criterion/Infinity Ward has done far beyond what these guys have done any time. Its just a pathetic excuse to pretend that that its not the case.
I'm fine with people figuring that they will sell more copies on the 360, so stick to the 360. But dont' try to pawn of...

Left 4 Dead. However if you have an old computer that ran Half Life 2 5 years ago, you are perfectly fine to run Orange Box, and you will be perfectly fine running another source engine.

I could say the same exact thing for the PS3 version. Online works fine, no freezes and no error codes, with the large group of people I know worldwide. Doesn't make the problems on the 360 any less severe, or the ps3. There IS a problem, and its shared by both consoles.
Yet no one sees through the subterfuge when someone says negative things about the PS3 not being able to make games.
We all know that GTAIV is the "last" Of the mega titles until Gears2 comes out. Its no real shock that there is a constant smear campaign to try to tarnish the Image of the PS3 by claiming that IT and IT ALONE has problems with GTAIV.Because GTAIV is the last title thats going to move 360's at a beyond normal rate, Microsoft knows this. So they are in full smear mode. As Usual. I just hope that when consumers research, they see that its clear on xbox forums/gta's "official"...

To make matters worse, they neglect to recognize that the 360 also suffers from the same EXACT software problem. Rockstar's to blame for it in the first place.

Not online the software lineup which has some of the biggest game franchises known to man, but the hardware features.
Anyone that does their research would see that the price of the PS3 is well worth it. You aren't paying an additional 90 dollars for hardware features that you get included.
Say either two things happened:
1. PS3 sold more
2. 360 Sold more
Nothing would change. Microsoft is a multi billion dollar company, who is interested in Gaming. The 360 will be around for the rest of its lifecycle, and a Microsoft product will more than likely compete with the Playstation on into the future.
Neither company is going to call it quits after GTAIV. Especially considering sony has a 6+ Year lifecycle here.
