8800 gtx came out 8 years ago, the same time ps3 did, it DESTROYED PS3 and to this day it destroys ps3
it can run games in 1080p that ps3 cannot even run in native 720p
the whole "bu bu but because its on console it will get optimized 10x more" is absolute garbage
if console games get so well optimized why can an 8800 gtx from 2006 run skyrim 10x better than the ps3

everything shown so far for bf4 does not even look anywhere close to as good as bf3 does maxed out on pc
these screens and clips that have been passing around the next better all be from ps4/xbox1 gameplay
cause they sure as shit do not look anywhere close to as good as bf3 from 2011 does on pc!
demo is up on steam, the game maxed on pc literally looks better than any next gen console games shown so far
it absolutely crushes the last gen console versions (to be expected) but I never expected it to look this good
I really enjoyed it when I played it on my ps3, but the awful jaggies, the constant framerate issues and the low res look really detracted from it
finally, on pc, you can see the game as it was meant to be seen!
think it looks cool, same with ps4, both are very sleek and nicely designed devices, much better than the gaudy launch ps3's and 360's, those were downright ugly
problem is, there just aren't any amazing looking games that I cannot get on pc
killzone and ryse are NOT enough to get me spending TONS of cash for
I'll be waiting till they have a LOT more exclusives
right now, nothing is compelling me to shell out ...
8gb is overkill for a 1.6 ghz cpu and a laptop gpu
ps4 and xbox1 both have PLENTY of ram
just everything else is lacking

that's why you always get the pc version

DA1 was AWESOME ,
DA2 was somewhat disappointing in many regards but still a decent game.
I think they will learn from their mistakes and make this game awesome!

with way better graphics than ps4/xbox1 will ever dream of, resolutions they could NEVER handle
yet not even 60% of pc games go to console
pc has mods, pc has backwards compatibility going back to the 1980's
pc can play every ps2/wii/ds/psp/ps1/gamecube etc game in native 1080p for free and completely legally if you own the original discs

I play sc2 all the time, its literally a matter of seconds before I am in a game, 30 tops
EVERY single console game I have ever played online
halo3, reach, 4, uncarted 2, 3, last of us, gears of war, resistance 1 2 3 etc
EVERY SINGLE ONE takes forever to even load the damn map, loading screen after loading screen after loading screen
when my friends are playing a steam game I can be browsing a webs...
its a rip off
consoles have TERRIBLE online, garbage peer to peer, no mods, awful latency issues, tons of annoying kids crying and playing terrible music in the awful quality chat
AND
they have the audacity to try and charge just for the privilege of playing on their garbage connections with the HORRENDOUS load times, takes FOREVER to get in a stinking game
maybe next gen will be different, but I'm not counting on it!
