the exclusives will decide everything
multiplats will still be best on pc, so if there is not enough compelling games for each console that can only be had on said console, then I will simply be waiting until there are
have not got a wii u yet, don't know that I ever will
I do want monster hunter, but that alone is not enough to warrant the purchase

I want to play this game in native 1080p at 60 frames
but it looks so cool, I may have to get it on my shiny new ps4 if the pc version is delayed a month or more
2 new consoles coming out, and we are not even close to the holiday season, I'd say its much, much too early to decide

ps4 will be better than a high end pc from 2007
it will not, however, be better than a high end gaming pc from 2011
people are both severely underestimating and overestimating the power of ps4

1080p @ 30 frames with current gen graphics and pc level Anti Aliasing will be pushing it for both consoles, more so for the xboxone....but still, ps4 really isn't that powerful either
the cpu and gpu are kinda meh......
it'd be cool to replay some classics like uncharted 2,3 , gears 2,3 halo 3,4, resistance, killzone etc. without all the jaggies, screen tearing, sub-hd textures and 25-30 frames
love to see those games at a blistering 60 frames, with 4x msaa and high res textures....im sure the will be coming
ms, sony and Nintendo LOVE to re-sell us the same games over and over.....and honestly, I don't mind a bit, as long as it is a true upgrade

pc gamers can use resolution of 2560x1600, can the ps4 or nextbox??
the pc can do 16x anti aliasing, can ps4/xbox1?
the pc has games with 1000's of hours of mods for free, does the ps4/xbox1?
the pc has emulators that play ps1,ps2,gamecube/wii/ds/psp etc..... does the xbox1/ps4

the ram is inconsequential, there's planty of it, its cheap, so what, you can but notebooks with 12 gb ram
the gpu and cpu are going to be the deciding factors
and, from the looks of things, the ps4 gpu is slightly more powerful, but still a MOBILE/LAPTOP chip, and both cpu's are slow and the exactly the same
cpu will be the bottleneck all next gen! but hey, they'll finally have that ram thing covered
