The Move is the opposite of the Wii in function... it's a light that is captured by a camera... the wii mote is the camera that captures the IR light... cheaper in every way... but it works obviously though the Move works better
VGChartz numbers have nothing to do with Sony's or Microsoft's sales to retail... you can have 200 million PS3 sold to retail that doesn't mean that 200 million consoles have been bought by consumers... Sony has always flooded the retailers with consoles and that's why there is always a huge backstock... maybe a look back at their fire sales would help you understand... it took months to clear out the older systems and BC systems could be found over six months after they stopp...
You do understand that VGChartz's numbers are sold to consumers... Sony sells to retailers... retailers have millions of PS3s in their backstock... Sony has a much larger turn around then Microsoft or Nintendo... the Money is in Sony's hands, but that doesn't mean that 44 million consoles are on the market
hey DD What's up homie... don't see you on HHGS to much it's DL... anyway I don't think I need to remind you that Sony sells their shit to retailers who hold that in distribution channles for months at a time... Sony shoves out way to many units... their systems have a much longer turn around time then Nintendo or Microsoft... that's why even months after they stopped making BC version of the PS3 you could go buy them at Walmart and Bestbuy. Of course the money is in thei...
41 million sold to retailers... that doesn't mean on a shelf though... that means in distribution centers... my Walmart store has the shelf full and 8 in the back and we got two more in last night. Sony's sales vs sold to consumer is at a much wider margin then even Nintendos if I'm not mistaken... sold to consumers is the more important number
I can almost see Adobe, but why would Steve want to buy Disney when he's on the board of directors and Sony is way to friggen large to purchase...
most of the people who talk against it are haters who have never even read an artical
one or two games starting off... there will be more
I hope your comment isn't insinuating that some how a webcam is on the same level as a device that can track the human body in 3D space... the eyetoy tracked movements and it didn't matter if it was a human body or a peice of turd... doing outline tracking of objects for webcam games has been around since the late 90s... haha I remember when a web cam cost over 100 bucks
A few weeks? The most likely senario is that it'll competely sell out and will be hard to find for months not weeks
aka: Lack of Knowledge... It is not a "gesture based game" You don't use "gestures" to make things happen... at worst it's teaching tool to learn how to dance at best it's a really fun party game
well the PS3 launch line up was pretty aweful as well and there was no reason to even buy the console until MGS4 came out... now look it has a beautiful lineup of games
what camera is out there that can detect you in 3D space for 150 bucks?
if you read up a little you'll find someone who explaned exactly how the anti gravity game works
wtf his grandmother just died... that comment was unnessarry
if you don't count Steal Battalion or Project Dragon... or any of the other games that were announced at TGS
but eventually reality catches up to possibilities
The power pad was effing awesome!
you can't play a game with 4 seconds of lag... I don't doubt you played it I simply doubt you ability to properly gage lag on that scale
it's ok dude... please don't give me hugs and kisses when I get my PS3
