They are subcontracting the game out to different studios, this should work out well. /sarcasm

Stop flaming users for a corporation.

I imagine you said the same last year.

What is happening at Sony Bend I can't imagine, not even sure if it is a full-fledged studio. They had a cancelled game a year or so ago.

The article is about first party and the games you mention are third party timed exclusives.

If VR isn't a bad gimmick they haven't been doing it any favors. Google "playstation vr disaster".

Cheers.

Then release the remake in one package and have some faith in your product, team and fanbase.

Damn, you could do PR for them.

"The games are so large these days that having several studios will be great. For example, the KH3 lead didn't know he was even working on this until a meeting this Spring. Just goes to show how this is good." - Sarcasm

Avalanche had two separate teams working on Max and Just Cause 3. They didn't go out and hire flunkies doing HD ports. What a weird statement...

Yeah, outsource it and episode it! Have it all be unique and cheaper for you, then pass the savings onto me.

So, the lesson learned is to not buy anything digital or otherwise?

It also takes away game ownership, guaranteed. Good thing most gamers are smarter than that.

Anytime Playstation wants to start a subscription streaming service for TV shows and movies to compete with Netflix I am fine with that. As a gamer, I am a bit smarter and know how these things go. They can just continue to see their service sink while actual BC is available elsewhere.

Because you are still paying for BC, renting BC over a streaming service.

Asking for 30 dollars on a 90 day rental and then going down on that price is not "listening", it is lowering greed levels. Netflix isn't also asking you to buy a 300-400 dollar console to "stream" their content.

It would be like Apple selling you music on iTunes and then every time a new iPhone came out you had to buy it again...

So... 100 bucks a year to stream games I may own but never own them again?

Seems like two console makers have better deals out there.

Did you just say "poor Sony, why not give them a break and buy these for the third time!"?

Define "look better"?

The games on PS2 played on a CRT actually look better than the upscaled versions. Trophy addition actually is done by a few interns and one paid employee. Fewer if the interns know what they are doing.

When you buy them again in 4K three years from now will that also be "the next time around"?

The developer of Witcher 3, friend of GOG and 7 million copies sold says hello.

"Don't be consumer friendly... they will just abuse you!"

3750d ago 1 agree2 disagreeView comment

"Not exactly"?

Well, take the opposite of that and it is BC. Charge people for what they may already own. That is the opposite of BC.

Bought a PS2 Classic on PS3? Why would you do that!? Buy it again.

Own the PS2 disc? Stop buying actual media in physical form, you made this harder! Buy it again.

*strong Playstation supporter, own the PS4, PS3 and Vita...

The VR presentation was bad and if you think hands on will cure it and if you work for Sony you will be out of a job shortly. Just like Yoshida.

They are literally taking PS4 profits and funneling them into this VR. The same thing they were doing with PS3 t...
