Actually, we are taking exactly what they have said about the game.
They took a turn based RPG and turned it into an action game being dumped on contracted development teams to be sold into three units for maximum and immediate profit.
They may be using that to invest into VR. If the initial pricing rumors of $300 are true it must have cost a ton to develop from scratch.
It would cost Sony money to develop, they are used to having third party create games for them or letting studios like Naughty Dog just do their thing.
Remember when 2015 was the year of games?
