that the PS3 should be moving forward* almost twice as long as the xb360 should be a given that it is going to sell more over this generation's lifetime. And with the condition of this worldwide economy, it wouldn't be wise for Microsoft to make another console until everything settles down. That probably won't be for a long while, people aren't ready for another generation. So until then, the PS3 has the most room to work with until the next batch of consoles. That should help it win.

This is third-party. The 360 won't even be able to utilize 3D games, just basic trailers and select movies.
I'm sure the PS3 will just need any HDTV, a simple firmware and the required glasses. So people like me will only need the glasses since I have an HDTV and firmware is easy as pie to get.
the PS3 was right on the Xbox 360's butt, the 360 price cut was smart, probably the smartest thing Microsoft has ever done.
What bugs me is the combined effort from xbox 360 fans and the media in order to hurt the PS3 even more. But why, god dammit? What's to gain with the PS3 out of the picture IF Sony in fact decided to drop from the console war?

256MB XDR @ 3.2Ghz isn't "little" at all considering how fast that thing is running. The CELL BE doesn't have to wait for the RAM to process and store the bits of data since the RAM runs at the same clock frequency.
And the interviewee says something VERY intriguing about the deferred lighting and the polishing. Basically, as much graphics processing is done on the CELL before it is given to the RSX f...
