I have grown a little tired of Battlefield games, but Bad Company looks really good and the deformable terrian and destructable buildings are sweet. Plus the audio sounds really good. This game might bring me back in.
I have game folders on my PC hard drive that easily go over 10GB. I would love to see a console gamer try to install and patch Microsoft Flight Simulator X Deluxe and the Acceleration Pack. Thats 2 hours I'll never get back. heh. People make too much of these installs on consoles.

Am I the only one who doesn't like the saying "Downloadable Content". DLC, to me, implies that its free. It should be called pay-to-play content. Am I wrong? To pitch it so much in the "console choice discussion" just implies that since you have an XBOX 360 you are also getting this DLC, but they never talk about the "DLC" costing you more money. What do you guys think?
Ya, but those xbox 360 things cost money to get. I'll be happy with just paying the price of the game and still enjoying endless hours of online play. It is going to be interesting to see this all plays out for sure. I bet it moves more PS3 consoles than anything else (myself included).

I dont see DLC being a big deal with this game. GTA IV is soo freaking huge already and theres going to be so much to do. DLC isnt really anything special. It would be like buying a keg of beer and getting excited that it came with and extra 12 pack of beer. Then you get charged for drinking out of your own keg at your own party. Lawlz, I'll stick with the PS3 version, free rounds on me! There is a trade off, but as an X360 owner your wallets are getting pwned.
I played the demo, loved it. For $4.95 ya cant go wrong! I got it.

I like this news. What we need is for the war to be over and all the companies making BR players. This means more competition, better hardware, and price drops to be had by the consumers. I love capitalism!

Doesn't the XBOX 360 need like more than $200 in accesories to make it a worthwhile entertainment system? Oh ya and then you have to subscribe to XBL to use more than just basic internet features. I dont know exactly. I dont have either console. I am a PC gamer so my hobby ends up costing me and arm and a leg just to keep up with the tech, lol!
I have been waiting for this game to drop so I can finally buy a PS3. I am going to use my Fed. Government rebate check of $600 (when it comes) to get a PS3 and a few games. I think PS3 will do pretty well with this game as will MS. The only real loser in the GTA IV scheme is the Wii.
Do you have to pay for that DLC on XBOX360 though?
I have been PC gaming for almost 20 years and the gap is closing between PCs and consoles. I have spent alot on my PC I have now and I dont want to upgrade again. I dont see myself ever buying a new PC either. I think I will buy a PS3 and nice HD TV instead. It would probably be cheaper than building a nice gaming machine that would handle Crysis. With mouse and keyboard support in the early stages and AAA titles coming out for all major platforms I think its time I gave into the PS3. I...
