I played the demo for a bit but I spent most of this time trying to tweak the settings. My computer fits into the recommended spec list and I got any where from 6 - 25 fps in the benchmark. I too will wait several years to play this once they optimize it.

Dead Space wins. Good Article. When I played Dead Space in the dark I actually got scared. Resident evil would be better as a gun game.
Maybe it will ready to play in 12 months after some serious patching. I just hope it doesnt take 2 years and the ACE mod like ArmA did to be good, finally.

Has it come to the point gamers in todays world are sooo spoiled that we argue of percentages of texture resolution? Seriously, how far will it go? "Well my character is 50000 polygons and yours is only 40000, noob!" I can see it now. I think all the kids growing up now should play on an atari for 3 months, then let me hear you cry about how this next gen game looks better on this other next gen console. Give me a break. All this is BS. I ahve the game and am playing it on my 52" Panasonic Plasma in 1080p. It looks like PC quality graphics. Its truely amazing to watch the proton packs and all the debris flying around on screen!

I got L4D for PC and the guy in the article is funny. It kinda does look like they made it ten years ago. haha. Heres hoping L4D2 looks a lot better.

I cant believe how crappy this looks. The original design was so much better. They have lost me on this one, which one of my most anticipated titles of the last 2 years. Cel shading ruined Borderlands for me. I feel like Im going to be sick... On the other hand if you like cel shading, go ahead and crap yourself cuz you just got an awesome game, jerk.
I bought this game twice already. Once for me and once as a gift. I just missed the Friday the 13th 50% off sale, doh! When L4D2 comes out I'll probably get it. But in the end all I want is HL2: EPISODE 3!!!
I was looking forward to this, but now its looking like a bargain bin title. Might be fun for the weekend, but not a buy. If we had a demo I might be more convinced. I hope I am wrong though and its a sweet ass sneaker hit.

Played the demo. I got a gaming PC in November last year. I meet most specs but i got 6 fps on high and 25 on low settings in the benchmark, ouch. I'll wait on this one, back to ArmA.
