If so, I would assume the camera would be bundled with every PS4.

Another way they can implement it without the camera is if the console itself has something that can sense the light bar on the controllers just for the feature.

This is not a useless feature, I can see it being something going forward as a standard feature other consoles will implement one way or another.

Imagine having a few friends over, say 4-5 friends.

The ones currently playing are in the middle. One dies, passes it over to a friend on the left side, instead of the friend on the left having to look all the way to the right to see, the screen automatically swaps position for him.

Simple and very convenient. Yes you can say, why not just stand up and move positions real quick, well, to that I say, why when this does it for you?

With the hor...

Kotaku is the worst when it comes to trolling, over exaggerating, and bad journalism.

If I was a professor lecturing students in becoming a future journalist, I will show examples of what not to do from articles like this from Kotaku.

Based on what has been revealed about the PS4 so far, all I can think and say is...

PS4 is poised for victory!
(Say that in Starcraft 2's Carrier voice for best effect)

I hope you're right, I would love to see more game play footage of PS4 games no matter where the event may be.

I knew you were Brazilian right when I started reading your comment :) I'm not Brazilian but from the US and I truly hope the PS4 would be released in Brazil at the same time, if not close to when all other major regions do.

I'd love it if Sony would be able to produce that much to ship worldwide, simply because I want the install base to...

Hey Sevir, I always thought you were a pretty cool guy around here, why the hate on this guy man?

He was just playing around and being enthusiastic about Mark Cerny, no need to put him on blast like that.

I am sure all of us has been so happy and enthusiastic about something that lead us to say something random at one point or another.

A self professed Nintendo Man not being a fanboy, with an open mind and making an intelligent civilized comment?

We need more of you around here from all sides of the pond!

I agree with what you said. DDR5 does not equal GDDR5 (DDR4 isn't even out yet, let alone DDR5)

Not to mention; "I would of stuck with DDR3's and slapped in 12GB. Regardless this tells me that the PS4 cannot multi-function?"

Not ideal, c...

Read the article and you will know that Mark Cerny and his team designed a third bus for the GPU to access memory directly from the unified memory.

"First, we added another bus to the GPU that allows it to read directly from system memory or write directly to system memory, bypassing its own L1 and L2 caches. As a result, if the data that's being passed back and forth between CPU and GPU is small, you don't have issues with synchronization between them anymore. A...

@ ravinash

Exactly as you said, took the words directly from my mouth as if you're a wizard :)

To say it in a slightly different way, if the numbers were released, all it would achieve is numbers PC extremists would simply use to compare the two platforms since the components are very similar.

That is not what they want to achieve, since it would totally overlook what they have carefully planned and engineered the components to behave and...

Yes indeed they are working on two games. Shadow Fall and an unannounced IP.

Hmm...wondering what it could be, will it be another FPS or something in a different genre?

Personally, I would like them to do a survival horror game. With their expertise in high graphics fidelity and lighting, one can only imagine how scary (sweet) a game that would be.

I love Dragon Force and Working Designs too!

They were awesome as almost all there games had extras thrown in, like special cases, music, art book, etc.

I wish these guys the best and hope to see more Japanese gems gets localised.

What to expect from the PlayStation 4 at E3 2013?

Expect me to be glued to the live stream and or constantly refreshing N4G for the latest news on the PS4.

Seriously I expect an amazing show, a historical show, one that will show the world their newborn baby; The PS4.

I also expect a couple more first party and third party games to be revealed and demoed live on stage, as well as some demo of what the PS4 could be and will be used for.

Truly an artist I have always adored. Love his work on the Metal gear series and Zone of Enders series. So badass, stylish and outright amazing comes to mind when I look at his work. I hope Hideo Kojima continues to work with Shinkawa on all of his future game.

Awesome! I loved Super Stardust and it was one of the first PSN games I've purchased. Many hours spent on playing the game with the family, so it is natural that I am looking forward to what they have in mind with their next game.

What a lucky guy! I never really found anything of much value at flea markets or thrift stores, then again I never really tried.

I can only imagine what a thrill it is to buy something so cheap and valuable to the collectors, only to find out what its truly worth.

I should allocate some free time during the weekends just to walk around and see if I can find any of these precious gems that has been lost through in time.

Imo, I don't think Japanese developers are ticked off at all that the PS4 was created by an American, as well as the reveal not being in Japan, but in the U.S.

Also given that the PS4 System Architect is Mark Cerny who works and lives in Japan at one point or another leads me to believe that it would be foolish for any Japanese developer to be disappointed at that.

I would assume he knows how to speak fluent Japanese too, since he operates out of Sony Jap...

Wow thanks for clarifying thay for me, that is truly something to be excited for.

If that is the case, I am more excited to look forward to finding out about the GPU then before.

That means the GPU can theoretically have access to more RAM (VRAM) then any video card currently out in the market.

So hyped, so looking forward to what the developers can do with the PS4, especially a few years after release when complete dev kits and more advan...

That is awesome! I was wondering how come no one made any Mark Cerny .gifs considering how important he is now to the PS4.

I look forward to more awesomely funny gifs of Mark Cerny. When he talks, you can tell he is so passionate in what he does. With all those expressive expressions, I can tell there would be some really funny ones to come.

I share the same excitement as you do with the PS4 and its potential capabilities.

Does anyone know whether the 8 GB GDDR5 includes whatever amount the GPU has as well? Or does the GPU has it's own dedicated VRAM that can also tap into the unified 8 GB GDDR5?

I would like to know more about the GPU. Hopefully we would find our more about the PS4 in general soon, as I find myself visiting N4G on a daily basis now and clicking on the PS4 tab at the top for ...
