Pretty messed up honestly. Like it's not built from the ground up with a remake because it's essentially the same game. Story, mechanics, flow. That's already all done.

But first party games don't.
How many sony 1st party released unfinished or a mess? How many Nintendo first party? These companies release at least 2 award winning and heavy hitting games a year.

Nobody leaves a good company. Especially not in those types of positions unless they didn't like the direction of the company.
This is happening simply because of the fact that PlayStation is using an already existing subscription service and changing it dramatically. It's not adding new services but making tiers of an existing one. This is the only reason people are getting confused.
If they had went the Microsoft approach then nobody would be confused.
