Well there are fanboys and then there are fans. I was a fan of xbox during the fable years. Also a fan of playstation during god of war early years. Thats really when I got into the nitty gritty of these companies.
I can confidently say Microsoft sucks. Not a single memorable game from one of their studios intiated by them since pretty much the beginning. Fable was lionhead and Halo was Bungie. Both being developed before they were bought. Gears was the same deal. So yeah. ...
gamepass is only big to ignorant people. PS extra is cheaper and offers higher rated games along with the best exclusive titles in gaming. Gamepass is no threat and im fairly sure microsoft also pays to keep titles off competitor services. Like all those day 1 3rd party deals.
It only needed more enemy variety and few more movesets or weapons to use. That would have made the experience tons better.
It was a crytek game though
Well it's first a threat to gamers as a multiplatform beloved IP was bought out by a big tech company that is creatively bankrupt.
...there are no words.
The GameCube really didn't sell much at all... Geez
Pretty sure this issue exists in every platform except for the switch.
Well congratulations on starting the souls journey. Keep at it and don't worry about checking online for help on builds and getting through a tough boss if you need it.
Demons souls is the easiest souls game as it doesn't require you to figure out super complex boss movesets....they're all mostly mechanical.
For me Extra is good for backlogs.
There's:
Valhalla
South Park
Blasphemous
Outer wilds
Bloodstained
Pathfinder kingmaker
Ys games
Ashen
Vampyr
Savage planet
Messenger
Victor bran
Matter fall
Etc
As I said...backlogs
Well you'd have to like souls games to like demons souls.
Yeah. Not sure what's up with these journos. Must be slow news
Except that populations arent increasing in 1st world countries...sure with immigration it goes up and those immigrants help sustain and support population growth in those countries but...population is really only growing with groups of people from 3rd world countries.
So it doesnt actually add much when population is really only growing in countries where gaming isnt anywhere near as popular. Gaming has gone more mainstream...thats whats causing higher numbers.
...
20 -30 hours are my sweet spot personally.
One thing is to appreciate short games. Another is to claim they're the future.
Different strokes for different folks. Some prefer long games, some MMOs, some singleplayer, etc.
You can't claim something this dumb and get away with it.
Less time doesn't mean you can't enjoy longer games. If a game is good it shouldn't matter how long it takes you. That's like making an argument stating 100page books are the futu...
That was pretty cool. I'm a huge aliens fan so returnal did it for me. Both did it for me. Platinumed control cuz it was easier to do so than the RNG trophies from returnal.
Forza or Halo?
Beat it on my second attempt. But I can accept that I simply got the hang of it faster than most. Control can also be difficult at times. Returnal keeps you engaged in its systems at all times whereas control can get pretty slow at times.
I enjoyed it but to compare these two titles is ridiculous. But yeah most rooms give you little compelling reasons to visit again. In that sense it's a much much slower paced game than something like returnal, dead cells, and hades.
Control is more story driven than these games in a linear fashion. Hades and returnal have great stroy as well told through dialogue, recordings and the environment. Did love the idea of objects of power in control though.
Sony has ps extra. Cheaper and subjectively better. No. Sony isnt worried. They got the better games on their service...whats to be worried about?
