I started this gen off with an unusually positive mindset and I've really enjoyed pretty much everything I've played on Xbox One and PS4. Especially the games that seem to get so much hate. I'm really glad I've tried games out for myself rather than buying into the negativity.
"There is nothing for you here."
Reviewers lose all credibility with me when they take it upon themselves to tell me my opinion rather than their own.
I think the article suffers from a very big flaw in that it's set up in the headline as a statement of objective fact rather than a well worded opinion.
Some people like open world games and some people don't. I really don't have a problem with repetitive gameplay if it's fun.
If the Witcher 3 isn't an example of an open world game offering enough diversity then I really don't think there's any way people will be pleased. Maybe the author needs to consider that open world games aren't for him.
A game having elements that don't appeal to everyone doesn't indicate a flaw. I d...
I totally disagree. I like the new ghost a heck of a lot more, I think it sounds like Guilty Spark from the Halo series. It's much more believable for me than a slightly modified Tyrion Lannister.
The script is the script. I don't think anyone expected Bungie to totally overhaul that.
I really hope the character models don't look like that.
It's really become the state of information these days. People go around thinking they have legit information and it's all coming from a source they only tune into for entertainment.
Information is cheap these days and hardly anyone seems to care if the information is truth.
Youtube is as good a source as any for faux knowledge.
I'm pretty sure devs could have just used something else for health packs. I don't know, maybe a turkey leg or ham hock. Nah, that'd be crazy.

Backwards Compatibility is the bees knees.
I've been surprised by how many digital games I bought on the 360. I've been looking over the list and my library is going to blow up as they add more games to the list.
If ever a game deserved an HD remaster.
"Notice that the money was paid to youtubers to promote "Microsoft", to "show Microsoft in a good light" and to pormote "Microsoft products."
How exactly would a shady ad agency be able to tell Youtubers who they are supposed to promote? Whether Microsoft was involved or not the agency would still use those terms. Or should they have used mysterious code words, since the terms "Microsoft" and "Microsoft Products" can'...
It's pretty sad that there are people out there that think Youtubers are impartial.

Try running any Halo game solo Legendary and tell me how casual the series is. Then if that's not rough enough for your balls of steel turn on all the skull modifiers and enjoy the "casual" nature of Halo's regen health system.
I prefer regenerative health. It's all in how you approach it I guess. For me it frees me up to focus more on the gameplay I enjoy rather than trying to locate yet another item to pick up.
If the enemy AI is done properly the enemies won't let you simply huddle behind cover waiting for your health to regen. Being low on health and being rushed and flanked on all sides is gonna be rougher in a regen scenario than having the ability to rush a health pack and instantly r...
I played it and I couldn't get past the douchebag main character.
I figured if I picked the female variant I could at least avoid the obnoxious attitude of the character from all of the trailers. However, once she spit out the words "don't judge me" at the guy trying to give her a little training I realized I just couldn't endure even fun gameplay if I'm forced to control a petulent moron the whole time.
Call me shallow but I'm f...
Kinect on 360 was a failed attempt at motion gaming. Kinect on Xbox One is a completely different story. It's very useful, just not for games.
It's a pointless argument however since it's a terribly difficult device to market as there's no way to really understand its value without actually getting personal experience with it properly configured.
@kfk
I'm not really gonna debate the console vs. console release nonsense, but I've gotta say in 36 years on this planet I've never once heard anyone refer to August as part of the Fall season.
Light level is now an average of your equipped weapons and armor. It's not tied in any way to the character leveling system. Since there isn't a specific light stat attached to any piece of gear you aren't going to see a drastic drop/spike in character level, or light level, by switching out gear.
With the previous system you basically had to stick with the armor with the highest light level regardless of the other stats, otherwise you'd drop character level a...
