"The main character (I don’t know his name because it was never said, and there was no introduction to the demo) walks through a crumbling downtown of a city. Buildings and sidewalks are collapsing all around him. He never acknowledges any of these extraordinary events. The ground beneath him falls, plunging him about 30 feet below into unknown waters. He makes no sound. No scream, no inner monologue. Just silence."
^ It's 2014 and we're still getting triple...
That's a very small minority of ps4 owners.
"Titanfall is financial disaster for Microsoft and EA."
Can you stop pretending like you work for the company and know about their finances? Seriously tired of people with these types of comments.
Sorry but if you think that Metal Gear cutscenes are well written then you seriously need to take some college level screenwriting classes ASAP. I also recommend watching the most iconic films from the entire history of narrative cinema as well. Video games are VERY far behind in storytelling, and praising Metal Gear, (and David Cage games) as "well written" only serves to hinder the progress we're making. Even the some of the most well written games, like the Last of Us, don...
I don't find scripted set pieces where the character doesn't react at all scary.
Naughty Dog only uses hand keyed facial animation. Imo it makes some of the scenes look off, go back and watch the scene where Ellie saves Joel and watch her face as she says "I shot the hell out of that guy huh." It's really off.
Wtf?! I'm sensing some kind of twist, like how it was revealed that AC had time traveling DNA. Ubisoft loves their twists. ;D And a huge plot twist would definitely be badass considering the straight faced cliche of the plot trailer.
This. I remember being extremely surprised at how differently Witcher 2 was when I was playing it a second time. Now THAT is how you do a branching storyline.

^ This is the quality I expect of open world triple A games now. Very strong main campaign with lots of VARIED side content and i'll gladly hand developers $60
Not gonna lie, this thought did cross my mind while playing the game..., but I'm sure that the metaphor itself is not intentional on Sucker Punch's part.
So wait? If you're an xbox fan then going to only xbox articles is a bad thing? As opposed to being solely a ps fan and going to xbox articles anyway to spread negativity and downplay any and all good news? ఠ_ఠ And i'm looking at these comments, WHY are people so hostile against someone being hyped for this game.
@andrewsqual
So why do you automatically assume that he's never purchased a game from them before?
I would if they would make a ps4 version! Seriously dying to try this new survival mmo genre out.
Delicious environment porn. (✌゚∀゚)☞
I remember back in the day I had the strategy guide for Jak 3, which included a ****load of illustrations and behind the scenes info. Will definitely pick this up.
EDIT:
And now that I think about it, anyone else remember that one mode in jak 3 where you could view the character models and they would say funny lines random things, like Tess telling Jak to call her sometime, or when Ashelin said that the reason Jak was banned from the city was because of a huge party. ...
So, anyone else noticed that Kiefer Sutherland isn't doing the body motion capture, despite Kojima stating that this would be the first metal gear to use full performance capture. So i'm that's only gonna be Phantom Pain? Although I do recall Kojima saying that he was only using western actors to make the game seem more westernized.
Let's take a moment to remember that this is an INFAMOUS REVIEW that never mentions titanfall at all so for you to reference titanfall is completely off-topic and nonsensical.
It looks ****ing amazing at 60fps. So buttery smooth. If they can get it to run as smoothly as the MGSVGZ then i'm sold.
Are you serious?! That looked so much better and smoother than the final version of the game which runs at 30fps. And obviously 60fps plays better than 30fps because of zero-minimal input lag. 60fps>30fps.
"9 Hollywood Stars You Didn't Know Were In Your Favorite Video Game"
And the first thing they show is Jodie Holmes from Beyond Two Souls. Um, who DIDN'T know that Ellen Page was playing Jodie Holmes? And Beyond Two Souls sucks anyway. And who doesn't know that Mark Hamill was the joker?! ಠ_ಠ
Not sure if I like the concept of keeping all of your weapons when you respawn. Knowing that if you make one mistake and get killed makes you lose everything is the whole heart and soul of dayz and why every battle between two gunmen is intense. ಠ_ಠ
