Uh, what?
There was a petition so that the amazing Dark Souls could also challenge PC gamers while looking even better than its console counterparts, making the whole thing even more thrilling.
Now there's a petition to prevent it from being tainted by GFWL for all eternity. It's a good thing. What would be even better is a "No DRM" approach like Ubisoft did with Rayman Origins and CD Projekt RED with The Witcher series. This is also known as "T...

With CryEngine 2 :
Crysis 1 : Holiday 2007
Warhead : Fall 2008
[Development of a new engine]
With CryEngine 3 :
Crysis 2 : Scheduled for Holiday 2010 but then delayed to Spring 2011.
Crysis 3 : Scheduled for Spring 2013
It was obvious that it wouldn't take them 3 years to develop another game using the same engine. This is just like CD Projekt RED, they released The Witcher in 2007, then worked on ...
It's only a video game, eh.
Well...
"It's simpler than Bayonetta, but DMC is never as dim-witted as God of War or Heavenly Sword or even Ninja Gaiden 3," said our previewer.
It's pretty clear.
What a great title for a preview article! /s
No wait, it's actually a piece of "news" quoting the preview article.
What the hell, CVG?
Oh wait, I've only just realized what the videos of this article are...
This is what must be watched, Gamespot's 6 minutes video with Antoniades explaining how the game works : http://www.youtube.com/watc...
It is full of interesting information.
It does feel like it doesn't belong here. DmC is the most colorful of them all, yet they are giving it a grey straight line for a health bar?
I can understand the style meter and the combo information being white/greyish so that it can easily be read with all those colors around.
However, the health bar should be completely redesigned to look like it's more than just a line.
I always think of how awesome God of War's HUD is. Colored lines on one hu...
I noticed this in the screenshots Capcom released today : http://raptornews.com/
Anyway, DmC is looking better and better. Now I'm not saying that it will eventually be an amazing game that lives up to the DMC franchise, I'm just pointing out the fact that NT has greatly improved their build.
It's a good thing that they're slowly showing us how the game works. When people saw the slow-mo mom...
Uh, I believe whatever Bob said about Dante to be completely false. The news are basically a means of controlling the population.
It's obvious that someone trying to stop Dante and by branding him a terrorist, the chance of him being spotted will only grow larger.
It's also interesting to note that Dante is fully aware of the newscaster's way of presenting him and is giving him the finger so that he can put a spin on it/twist this information to nurture Da...
I know, Mariousmssj! But there will also be a PC retail version of the Enhanced Edition so I might end up buying it in the next few months.
At least it's future-proof, unlike many PC games of this generation. I know I'd be able to re-install TW2EE 15 years from now without having to use any activation key or account verification online and without the need to get patches from a server that might not exist anymore.
As long as disc trays keep on existing...eh.
Oh, don't worry, that's about to happen.
Hell, I might buy the PC version again to secure an already Enhanced Edition patched game and not have to go through downloading 10's of GB every time I re-install the game.
It might also be time for me to get a new laptop so that I won't play through TW2 with a 640x480 resolution to keep 60 fps.
I don't see a reason to thank EA.
They're simply letting players who bought the game have access to the on-disc content that was locked before the game's release.
Of course they could have charged for that, but the way I see it, not doing it doesn't deserve any praise and doing it deserves insults.
Just give us complete games. Out of all the games I've bought in the past few months, Rayman Origins is the only one that hasn't as...
Uhh...All right, you can disagree with what is written in this article, however you can't possibly believe that independent games aren't worthy of the whatever amazing hardware will be sold in the next few years.
I'm currently enjoying (in a weird frightening way) Amnesia : The Dark Descent, which, I'm pretty sure, is considered an indie game. And Limbo or Super Meat Boy aren't exactly "non-games" so I don't see what you're getting at. <...
Oh no! That red color...Argh! I would have had nightmares! Thank you, ESRB! /s
How can people over there keep a straight face? So what if all this red CAN be interpreted as blood? It's a box art! It won't harm anyone.
Uh, I do hope I'm not the only one who realized that "AAAA" is here as a joke since the Microsoft job listing in which it was found was talked about on N4G 2 days ago. Developers also use the Internet, you know!
I mean, come on, just look at the end of the description : "and it will deliver an AAAA experience to fans of Trine 2."
That's just hilarious!
Can't wait to play this expansi...Uhh, wait, I should start by play...
That isn't really a valid complain. Just forget about the entire franchise and play the game for what it is. You can't have bought it only because it has "Castlevania" on the cover. And how could you even expect a "true Castlevania gameplay" when the series is mostly about 2D games. The videos and the demo were here to make people aware of the fact that it is a game similar to beat'em all like God of War.
The Castlevania franchise needed someth...
Yep, that was The Island. The difference between that movie and KARA is that, from the beginning of the tech demo, the robot knew its/her real purpose and the ability to think like humans can't be found in any other copy.
The Island gives everyone the same knowledge of the world and the same abilities. It all falls apart when Echo 6 finds out about the true purpose of the facility and is therefore pursued by those who'd rather have him terminated.
So you could...
Eh. Sorry for the long reply... Here's a tl;dr:
Most of the DLCs we've had are only meant to lock our games until we give publishers/developers more money. It isn't always the case, but it has tarnished this generation.

I understand your point of view. In the few past months, I've read a lot of opinions about DLCs.
The thing is, Downloadable Content wasn't always available like it is today. This used to be called an add-o...
What the fuck?
I'm just that shocked. "Buying games day 1 is a big mistake."
And you're okay with that?! I guess it somehow must feel normal to you now. Also, to you, anyone who wants to have a full package when they buy their game is a spoiled gamer, that's it?
What a sad way to view gaming. I'm 19 years old, which means I'm fairly young, and I started gaming when I was 5. That was because my father brought me a PlayStat...
New engine is the only thing I really needed to read. Everything else appears to have been improved but they are only minor changes (though mission checkpoints is something I've really wanted to see).
Anyway, it's a day one buy. Better graphics, a new hero, a new setting, improved gameplay, etc... This ought to be good.
Well if you're referring to this particular petition, you got it wrong. Dark Souls' PC Edition will comes with new content ready to be installed along with the game, therefore making it part of the full package and not DLC.
However, nobody said if these extra boss battles would make on appearance on PS3 and Xbox 360, in form of DLC or patch, so that all versions would be equal in content.
This is why people are signing this petition, because they aren't su...
