Took me 107 laps to beat Zico, that was almost 2 years ago and I still remember it, hell I even had the time to pause the game and record the moment the trophy showed up.
I was pretty happy. Now that's a gaming experience that is worth it. WipEout HD's list is probably the most satisfying trophy list I've ever completed and one of the best (PS3) games I've ever played.

Well actually no Bioshock movie, it was deemed too violent by publishers as its makers wanted to respect the game.
So either you make a shitty movie that doesn't respect the game's universe and you earn a lot of money while making the fans quite unhappy, or you actually work on something interesting and respectful to the original only for it to be rejected for being TOO GOOD.

Okay, say Castlevania : Lords of Shadow's DLC that is supposed to arrive in 2 weeks only has 30 minutes of gameplay for us.
The game is excellent, the graphics are great, the story is amazing, the music is almost perfect, the voice acting is impressive, the gameplay is satisfying.
But for $10, if the DLC is only 30 minutes long, the review's score will be affected.
Well think about it, as far as we know, the game will be released in 2012. But what if it releases in January 2012?
That would be 10 months from now.
You can compare that to Uncharted 3 or Mass Effect 3's announcements made in December 2010 and coming at the end of the year, after only 11 months :/
Early is announcing Insane for 2013, now that's insane (ha ha...).
You do realize you were only able to play one race and with only 2 vehicle classes available (NEW classes I might add, meaning they should have a different feeling when compared to what people were used to in the series).
You can't judge the game by playing the demo. Sure, you can see what the final product will look like and play like, mostly, but I guess MotorStorm : Apocalypse has a lot of surprises that can only be found in the full game.

It was a nice surprise and I guess that gave motivation to those who would like to try something different in the industry.
These are exactly my thoughts, Lords of Shadow is a very beautiful game (design-wise and texture-wise), but the framerate and aliasing annoyed me.
They should at least try to get a solid 30 FPS, antialiasing would be icing on the cake, but not having that didn't prevent LoS from being gorgeous looking and stunning sometimes.
Can't wait for the DLCs, especially if one of them happens right after the "normal" ending of the game, because I need...

Whoa whoa whoa... The trailer blew my mind and the gameplay videos reminded me (oddly enough) of the Devil May Cry series.
This looks like a great sequel to a 10 year old game, I'm glad American McGee didn't forget about Alice.
But it feels like they didn't show a lot of things during the past few months, and it's releasing in 4 months O_o

Well the only unanswered question I have is why would the main character not run away after freeing himself from someone who was about to blow up with him? It's not like he HAD TO KEEP PUNCHING, right?
And the Hanging part felt like it was used randomly, the way it happened was impressive though.
Yeah, about Hardcore, it's not that long at all.
I used my three saves every 1 hour 30 of gameplay, so the last one happened at Chapter 10.
Hadn't I died because of a certain eye sequence after around 1 hour 40 of save-less gaming, I would have finished the game in 6 hours 30.
That's almost half the time it took me to complete the game on Zeolot, and it's not even THAT hard (basically, you're doing a Speed-run in a mode called Hardcore. It might sou...

It's actually worse (meaning you would lose your jaw o_O), but you can't deny the fact that it makes you want to see what happens next, so it works pretty nicely as a cliffhanger.
Maybe it's just their way of doing things, 3 games, 3 cliffhangers, but each new game had more time dedicated to Desmond so I guess the next Assassin's Creed will be more focused on him than ever before...

Keep in mind that Criterion Games might be developing a new Burnout game right now, a sequel to NFS Hot Pursuit could still come later though.
If Shift 2 gets great review scores, people would probably be more interested in it.

On the contrary, it was awesome as I was always getting closer and therefore more excited about the possibility of succeeding at it.
Zone was/is my favorite mode, and I have probably spent 15 hours on Anulpha Pass( I reached Zone 91 and I'm in the top 100 D: )
I'd never have kept playing Zone or kept trying to beat Zico if I hadn't loved the game. But as it didn't get boring at all, it was an amazing experience.
