Exactly. Games in those eras also DID NOT NEED patches and updates constantly and we had the community actually helping keep a game alive, which is unheard of anymore.
I would bring up the expansions and sequels conversation but, in a way, they're both getting the job done. *shrugs* it depends, but I guess i'd say modern exp/seq's have less (new) content.
NOT WATCHING! :P I like to keep things unknown to find for making my own journey. If I know where it is there's no point! :P If I hear there's something like it then I'll look for it. If I grow tired of looking for it and not finding it is when I'll look or ask for help ^_^

I played the free bit of PSO for a while and it wasn't a bad game, I just never got the hang of it and didn't have anyone in my social reach to team up with.
PSO2 has had me interested since I noticed it was coming out, I just wish I could understand it

A) get a copy on my PC
or
B) Hook up my Playstation 2

heh congrats, I don't have the money for that and couldn't justify it as all I wanted was the game :) the music and art is FANTASTIC THOUGH QwQ I'll be buying that whenever possible down the line (music mostly)

Yeah that's quite true. I just remember having to pay a very small access fee in gold in the original Guild Wars so hopefully that shouldn't be an issue. I like being able to share items across characters though as it makes everything that much easier.
I saw on the store site that a new character slot is/will be 800 gems (10$, so for 3 it's 30$)...pretty expensive but is understandable. It also doesn't mean you have to b...
To comment on this I thought of it interesting that if the person wanted to upgrade from standard to Digital Deluxe they have added the option to do so although I don't know much about the gem system.
EDIT: now knowing the gem price, 2k gems totaling out to 25$...not a fan.
But the cosmetic skins are looking pretty great, in addition to a Guild Wars 2 hat with no price...strange.

That...is actually quite a toss up of a thought.
I never really minded the birthday gifts (forgot about it being per character).
About the additional characters I thought of adding in at least three more slots down the line (5 for core game, right?) so I can have one of each class at least on the account.
Having two accounts for a server on each wouldn't be so bad but I might wait a few months or so if I were to pick up an additional copy so I won't have to jug...
I honestly read this as "five reasons Minecraft should have bought onlive".
It sucks for the people who have bought games on Onlive though :( it has some nice perks to it but it wasn't something I was interested in. The internet necessity and not really having it stored on the hard drive is a big hit to the gut when it isn't really something that is taking everyone by storm and isn't, as of yet, flawless technology with modern internet.
It might get me to play Diablo 3 on the side again so I don't get ENTIRELY burned out from Guild Wars 2 (if that is even possible :P).
I guess I'll have to see what happens with the 1.0.4 patch coming out. I just don't have the motivation right now as I am awaiting it in case a legendary item is waiting to drop for me. The game was a disappointment for me because of it not having at least the mechanics or at least the possibilities Diablo 2 had created.
