I'm buying an Xbox One for the games, simple as that. The only games shown on the PS4 that I am even remotely interested in are the multiplats, whereas the One's exclusives I am more than hyped for. Sorry, but Im not spending $400 to play indie games.

The hand held market is WAY too crowded for the Vita to ever be a success. Like it or not, phones and tablets destroyed any legitimate shot the Vita ever had.
Seriously? PS1 and 2 killed everything here. Just cause the PS3 actually had real competition this time around doesn't mean it didn't sell here. You can even begin to compare US PS3 sales to Japanese Xbox 360 sales.

Japan is a non factor. They did fine without Japan last gen, plus Japan told them to screw off years ago, so why is it not ok for them to tell Japan they aren't worth their time?

Maybe he just actually sees something he likes. Maybe he likes the fact that Microsoft has the balls to bite the bullet and ensure ever Xbox1 has the tech needed so it doesn't feel like he's wasting his time on features only a few will appreciate.
So by this argument, I get the most advanced motion camera tech in the gaming world for only $40 more if I get the One over the PS4? Hell, I've wasted $40 on a bad dinner, $40 for an advanced motion capturing camera is pretty killer even if I only use it occasionally. I'd say the Xbox One sounds like a far better deal.
