Maybe people actually want a game when they buy a game, not a $60 somewhat interactive movie. Maybe it's more ballsy then it is good. These kind of "games" are so over rated.
There is absolutely nothing ideal about 720p. This is supposed to be next gen. These consoles right outta the gate are weak. Launch titles pushing them to their max. Pathetic.

Any 4 core I7 will blow the doors off of the 8 core in the PS4, so if a good 4 core isn't enough, then they just REALLY suck at optimization.
The PS2 had a horrid launch lineup. seriously, it did. Almost any console had a better launch line up then it.
Lemme get this straight, A 2nd party developer says something good about the XB1 and it's all BS, but when an anonymous developer says something good about the PS4 is all truth.

I can build a pc to out perform the PS4 easily for far less than $1000. Plus, not having to pay to play online, on average cheaper games, and far more frequent and much better sales on games offsets the cost difference between a gaming pc and the PS4/XB1 way faster than what you think.
An excess of bloom doesn't make great lighting. Graphics are good, but nothing special. It's not running at 60 FPS either. Looks locked at 30.
Other than that, it looks like every other generic shooter already available.

LMAO, BF4 will not be running at max setting on the PS4. Everybody needs to seriously temper yheir expectations here. The PS4 isn't all that powerful. More powerful than the Xbox One maybe, but truth be told it's already behind when it comes to current high end tech, and it's not even out yet.

I don't care when if it's the beginning of the generation or the end, if they cant show me through games that it is more powerful, then all this talk is completely irreverent.
It was the same thing as last gen, of the PS3 is so much more powerful than the 360 because of the cell, and now that this generation is over, realistically and technically, there still is no title on the PS3 that show the immense difference in power Sony claimed to have.
There are gonna be a whole lot of pissed off fanboys when they see very little difference in the games on the 2 consoles.
So, the PS4 is 50% more powerful and easier to develop for, yet not a single 1st or 3rd party dev has shown all the extra power in a game thus far, and assuming it's true about the ease of developing on the PS4, there is absolutely no reason they shouldn't be able to show it right now.

You are beyond naive if you really think it's just that easy. Not even Naughty Dog can take a pc game and port it to two other platforms on a limited budget without issues.

Wrong, resolution is THE most important factor for graphic fidelity. Go play on a gaming pc for a while then try to go back to 720p. It's as obvious as being punched right in the throat.
It speaks volumes on both of these "next gen" consoles when they are still stuck in last gen resolutions. This could be the weakest console generation, in relative terms of course, of all time.
