I don't want it, but it's one of the most popular franchises on the planet. It will be the most downloaded game from this list. It's a high value offering, despite what you or I think.
So this guy is mad because his indie games (I have never even heard of) don't get the same advertising as a first party game or a game from a big publisher that's going to sell millions of copies?
I'm sure the media will eat this up in their nonstop mission to demonize Sony and will ignore the fact that this is industry standard practice, and won't point out that what we have here is a guy who wants his games that sell in the thousands to get the same treatm...
I guess that's good. I still want this studio to be successful. And I really don't blame them as much as I blame WB for forcing it to release before it was ready. I still don't understand why they couldn't publish this themselves, or at the least why they went with WB, they couldn't find a Polish bank or financier that would have respected the product. Why go with a cooperation led by people who don't care about your project or success.
Blurring on today midrange to high end TVs is very minimal with the advancments in motion processing
You must be joking... Yes it's better than it used to be I suppose, but It's nowhere near CRT. LCD physically is not as fast at changing colors as CRT and never will be. CRT is analogue instant. And on top of that, the more image processing you add in LCD the more lag you introduce.
Why these guys... of all the people, why them... So many other studios could handle the franchises better. These guys have never made anything more than a B rank project.
Flop games don't get re-released... Resident Evil, all of them, there are tons of successful single player games. I can't believe you honestly think single player games are all flops... They aren't making Control multiplayer because it didn't make money, they are making it multiplayer game because they want to make even more money selling microtransactions to idiots.
so you can’t blame these developers for trying to cash in.
Yes I can. Why should I defend cash grabs? I'm not going to defend EA and 2k why should I defend anyone else? These companies wanted $70 per game now they want to nickle and dime me on top of it?
They can make whatever cash grabs they want, I'm never going to buy them, though.
It's not even about that. It's about image clarity.
Every LCD regardless of quality has blur when things move. It's why I don't understand the big push for 4k. The only time you're really seeing 4k is during cut scenes when things are zoomed in and stationary or moving very slowly. And on top of that there is a noticeable lag, most people have probably become numb to it, but if you were to play the same games side by side on CRT you would instantly...
People didn't understand/criticized Sony involvement in EVO but I'm telling people Sony has competitions for tons of games, and they have been steadily growing in popularity and prize value.
I'm really worried about this upcoming generation, everywhere I look its single-player devs trying to cash in on multiplayer and the microtransactions they can squeeze into them.
It's like no one learned from the success of the PS4 and the Switch. People still want big budget single player games.
