If you don't like the game thats valid, but to say its "garbage" is inaccurate. It may not have been as good as it could have been, or what you would have liked it to be, but many people worked really hard on the game and its very playable and very fun. Not garbage by any stretch.
You are wrong to place the blame on Ninja Theory. That studios original vision I believe was a game most of us would have liked, however its well documented that Capcom kept rejecting early concepts that weren't far off enough. NT wanted to make a game closer to the franchise and Capcom wanted the reboot.
You are trying too hard.
Mario Kart is definitely helping but I also think the strong showing at E3 (Nintendo Direct to be specific) really pushed the system that consumers were on the fence about. I hear every day in my store now how impressed people are with the Wii U. Believe it or not it has all been positive press since the Nintendo Direct.
Its sad when someone who is smart enough to conceptualize a game and then complete said game (Like Fez or not its the truth that completing it was impressive) but has NO CLUE OR UNDERSTANDING OF THE CUSTOMERS!
These people are advertising the game (at no cost to the developer) and growing awareness for the title. This guy has no clue.

I loved this game, along with ML Hockey, but man the Kickstarter they tried looked really bad. I would love nothing more than to have a redone version of this classic but I don't think this game is going to be what we want.

King? Eh no, but they finally made D3 playable. It was actually a really short expansion(imo) and a lot of what was offered was patched in before RoS.
I played 3 of the beta weekends and the game never grabbed me. I love the ES games and was hoping this would be a multiplayer version of that, but I was disappointed.

Ok so I just read the whole thing and here is my honest take on it. At first reading it it just felt like they were taking all of the information that we already knew and sort of streamlined it. However upon reading more it feels like this could be real. I certainly hope not (because I would have ruined it for myself) but I could see this being real.
With that being said it could all be a huge metal gear fan conjuring up some serious nons...
