Well, yeah. They have a two year production time really, not one year. They start working on the next one once they've finished up. The DLC is just a side project; in reality they spend 2 years making it.

i think Kinect is great at some things. For me to be able to sit on my bed and just swipe in mid air and browse the dashboard, or just say "xbox search Gears of War 3" and have it search it for me is incredible, and the PS3 does not offer this. On the other hand, it's useless for the majority of games. You can't do action adventure, shooters, RPGs... anything really in-depth. You can do games that were specifically designed for Kinect, perhaps some sports or strategy games. ...
@vyke3 I don't believe that's impossible. Most companies just buy out most of the domains they think they'll need and park them. Most likely they also have 4 and 5 even if they never intend to make them.

Quick, efficient response from Sony. All products have day-one issues; the IMPORTANT part is how quickly/efficiently fixed the issues are. Let's hope this patch fixes them.
I wholeheartedly agree. Thus far, in 2011, almost all of Microsoft's attention has been on both the really, really casual gamer and the multimedia freak. They've released very few games for the hardcore audience beyond Gears of War 3 (Admittedly an undeniably great game), an announcement of Halo 4 in the future, and Forza. Revelations definitely shouldn't be on that list. It simply improved on everything Assassins Creed had done right before, plus including a fascinating, extremely emotional storyline and vastly improved multiplayer. that said I do hope they take 2 years off to really nail Assassins Creed III and come back to us with a product that blows us away as much as ACII did in relation to AC1. Personally I very much hope we can play in Feudal Japan. Alternatively, Greece!

You can have cheap bad-to-average games, or more highly priced excellent games. One or the other.

I agree with S_C. I paid for Elite because I was going to buy all the DLC anyway because I think CoD is a lot of fun. I want MORE DLC, not less! I don't care if they were making it before or after launch, as long as I get it!
