If parents spent a little more time parenting instead of waiting for somebody else to look after their precious little offspring, the world would be a much better place!
No, it's called Normal Mapping, or Dot3 Bump Mapping. Bump Mapping is something else.
Well done to Gamespot by saying a barren meadow in F3 looks better than the lush vibrant one of F2. No fanboys on their team!
Every time they mention it the old fans go nuts, but there just isn't the market for it. They were SEGA's most expensive games to make, barely scraped a profit, and only one of them made it to another platform.
We've got a better chance of SEGA releasing the originals on PSN/Live than we do a new game, when the demographic is already controlled by Yakuza and Way of the Samurai.
"You should pay more because we need to keep Halo and Gears match-making servers running, so you can get the best Peer-to-Peer matches"
I would hate Microsoft, but they're like Robin Hood. Only instead of stealing from the rich, they convince the well off to pay for a service they can get elsewhere for free. And instead of giving to the poor, they give to... well we don't know, but I'm sure Bungie and Epic get their cut.
Genius.

If you subscribe to PSN+ for only one DLC bundle pack, you don't get your money's worth!
SHOCK HORROR!
And if you can't see paying a year up front is cheaper (as it is with ANY subscription service from games to your phone service), then you are exactly the kind of idiot that would pay £40 a year for a £15.99 DLC bundle.
There's not a lot of difference between the two, PS gets you a lot more, for a lot less. And Live gets you some things for $60 a year.
If you think you are getting special game patches, or extra content because you pay that $60, you are a moron, and MS have earned their money.
Cross Game chat. That's about all that separates them. If you think that's worth $60 a year, then all the power to you.

It was just magical.
Unless a game has been hyped to hell, no gamer will choose a single-player 10 hour experience over a 10 hour + Multiplayer.
I love singleplayer, but this is just the state of the market these days.
But whilst PC games will always look better, I moved from PCs to consoles so I wouldn't have to worry about the future.
Good old Microsoft, get people who don't even know what a video game is to review your product. If it sucks, it must be because they just don't get this Video Game fad.
Until the last game.
Actually it would be pretty funny in-game if he were in prison or something and always reviewing the guards, the meals, the state of the prison.
Right up to the public execution.
We can dream, right?
I think you're talking out of your ass.
The interface was streamlined, how does that equate to easier? If anything the PC version was easier because it allowed an over-head view that let you issue tactics and orders (something that is in the console version, but pretty useless since you can't see much more over the shoulder of your character).
By reserving "good" for the 8-10 scores, you devalue the whole scoring system.
Why do you need 1-7 to tell you how bad a game is?
5 = average
6 = better than average
7 = good
8 = excellent
9 = Near Perfect
10 = drop what you're doing, and go buy this now.
10's should be reserved for maybe a handful of games per generation. I'm getting sick of picking up 9/10 games and completing th...
I think Diablo just represents one of the final "justifications" for only owning a PC.
I think the decision has more to do with Blizzard not wanting alienate their only audience. But now that Activision is in the picture, I'm sure Bobby Kotick would be keen for cross-platform games.
I think we've heard the extent of Cowell's ability by now. What would he play? A Judge of some kind I imagine. How droll.
Full of good ideas and promises, but good games? 25 years of gamers have been happy with a menu for their RPGs, and you turn it into a shard of Playstation Home, without the community.
"and other developers are working on GPU solutions for Xbox 360" Oh, never mind. Good luck to them, but the 360 is pretty easy to develop for, and we haven't seen much graphics wise beat PC or PS3 in a long while.
