Nintendo is going hard to the handheld market. Nothing more. I think many gamers still dont see that. They dont wont to face Sony or Microsoft on the home console market. They dont want to spend billions on a home console.
I think it a shame, because they have good exclusives and are the only one that can fight Sony on that department.

Microsoft hit the jackpot with the 360 cheaper and launch year before the PS3. The console, for that time, was a powerhouse, we got a huge transition from SD to HD games.
The problem was that they didnt learnt nothing with the 360 and the transition for the Xbox One was a nightmare. They launch a underpowered machine targeted at the casuals with Kinect, expensive and the launch conference was a nightmare.

They will say anything and everything. They want to sell the game. They will max out the Xbox One, never done before and PR like that. They need to hype the game, they need sales. It normal and everyone does that.
But after years of talk like that, i prefer to see a video with the before and the after running on the Xbox One and not on a PC, where the game will come also. The news with a video would be perfect. Everything else is marketing.

Power! that will make millions and millions choose the xbox over ps? If microsoft thinks that they are going to have another surprise. I think its games and there is the problem. They got 3 big ip and none is growing in sales compared to last gen. Their new ip qb floped big time but power will make them beat sony? Why compare it with PC Gaming. They already have much more powerfull systems...By the time the Scorpio will be out you will be able to build a PC with 3x4x5 times the teraflops of the Scorpio. Its not possible to win a race with PC Gaming.

The problem here is that the Xbox One is much cheaper then the PS4. Microsoft is already very agressive with the price, but they dont have the results.
