So a game that millions of people love and play daily even after being out for over 3 months?
Freddy was a stupid addition to MK. Kratos might make sense, considering Raiden is a god and all that.
But for the most part, exclusive characters, or guest characters usually just don't fit.
Look at Scorpion in Injustice. He sticks out like a sore thumb.
Spawn, Heihachi, Link, Darth Vader, Yoda, and Starkiller in Soulcaliber. None of them really fit, even though some of them were very fun to play with, especially Link.

This is what really bothers me. I spent a lot of time trying to collect the FWC weapons because I really like them.
But the DLC did not add any new Faction weapons, so now all those FWC weapons I have are crap.
Not to mention, its pointless to even try to get faction weapons at all because they are inferior to the new DLC weapons now. I'm not sure why they didn't add damage boosts to the faction weapons if they weren't going to add any new on...
It ended a long time ago for me.

Right now, she plays Castle Crashers on my 360. But even that has some pretty crazy humor for a 4 year old. I didn't realize how many poop and fart jokes are in that game until she played it, lol.
She also loves Minecraft, although I have to play it and she tells me what she wants to do.

I never watched him back in the day, when people claim he was good. The first Angry Joe review I watched was recent, and he was really annoying and thought that his opinions were all that mattered instead of just giving the facts.
Angry Video Game Nerd is much better, even though he doesn't do new games. He's much more entertaining :)

I remember when this was such a big deal when the PS3 came out.
This is obviously something that gamers would give their third nut for, so I don't understand why Square Enix won't consider it.
Instead they would rather make new FF games that most people wish were more like FF7, 8 and 9.

I'll try to give a good argument without acting like a child.
What you say is true, in CoD or BF, you can't play when a DLC map comes up in the rotation if you don't have the DLC.
However, the big difference is that in those games, you can still quit that match, and rejoin another match that isn't running the DLC map. In fact, BF4 had a choice to include DLC content in the rotation, or not.

I agree with most of what you said, except for one thing.
Capcom has been doing weird things for a long time. Going all the way back to Street Fighter 2, they have been re-releasing different versions of the same game. That isn't anything new to them. I've always hated that about them. With all the versions of Street Fighter 2 they released, they could have just made Street Fighter 3, and added the 8 extra characters that got added from SSF2 and SSF2T. Don't e...

Every game stands on its own. Just because we've had some disappointments this year doesn't mean that every game that gets talked about now will be a disappointment. Like you said, hype doesn't make a game disappointing. These games would have been disappointing whether people talked about them before they came out or not.
People just got tricked into pre-ordering things...
