definitely Scorpio if it pans out.
Only real new IPs are Horizon, Scalebound, Recore, and Detroit to be honest. All of which look pretty cool. Oh and....Death Stranding....*rolls eyes*...except it's like 3 or 4 years out....and he hasn't even chosen a game engine yet....and the reveal was more of a "what the f did I just watch?" then anything substantive. It annoyed me/turned me off more than excited me.
That's not to say that the other games looked bad persay.....but I'm definitely...

Exclusives should be a thing of the past. This would be a good thing for the industry. But ya.....at this point I can't see Sony or Nintendo going for that....The death of exclusivity would mean a larger community for devs/games. Which would mean more freedom and potential for devs. Which would mean more potential for gamers.
I love Halo. And I like Xbox. Exclusives are lame though. The more people that can play the game the better.
Good. Larger install base is always a good thing for any game.
Basically.....he can't really say how devs will use the extra power....that's up to the devs. HOWEVER.....the games have to work across xbox one, one s, and scorpio. That's what they've made clear. Everything else will just come down to what the devs/publishers decided to do. Spencer can predict that.
So will games be significantly better on Scorpio than one or one s? Yes.....but the devs will determine exactly what is better.
All the people that are complaining about this should just go play Verdun. That game looks like it's right up your alley. This game looks right up my alley. You want that game. I want this game.

It's a little bit unclear at first because it's two different people talking. But it's not really a mixed message. Essentially they're saying.....ya there's probably gonna be new and more powerful hardware more frequently. Probably not at the rate phones are.....but I bet probably around every 3-5 years. Just listen to the interview of Phil Spencer on Giant Bomb. Best interview I've seen by far of him describing his vision. Sounds good to me.

Honestly I think exclusives need to die. Good games are good games. Just because you don't like Microsofts "big 3" doesn't mean they're garbage. They're good games. As are a lot of the games Sony showed. I'm just not interested in in any of the stuff Sony showed....except Horizon. That game looks really cool and interesting. Really wish games would just all go multiplat though....so this "console war" garbage would disappear.
